Discussion: ‘Inconceivable’: Why Experts Don’t Believe The Nunes Memo Is What GOPers Claim

“You just have this wider and wider net: they all perjured themselves, they all opened themselves to criminal liability,” former FBI counterintelligence agent Asha Rangappa said

A good old fashioned pardon will fix that right up. Of course their political career will be in the shitter, but damn the torpedos.

Come on, we don’t need no stinkin’ expert opinions, it’s Nunes ! Says it all…

All Republicans who are cheering the release of this memo are guilty of accepting Russian money laundered to them through the RNC. It’s too late for them to go the honest route, and they know it – so they’re doing all they can now to avoid being charged. Putin has shit on all of them – otherwise, why in hell support Trump (and Nunes) to the ends of crazy? Seems it’s all or nothing.

Straight out of the Stalin playbook. Next, there will be a “Conference” to denounce publicly the “offenders.”
We are down the shithole.

My thinking exactly. Desperate times, yada yada.

Trump is making us the shithole country. If we survive this, it’s gonna take a decade or more to go through it all with a fine tooth comb. If.

The Nunes memo has absolutely no value other than the hype before release. Nunes knows it, as do others. Therefore, he’s extending the hype as long as he can. It riles up the base, and, without release, nobody can fight it.

The moment it’s released it will be seen to be a nothingburger and all the wind will be out of Nunes’ sails. He’s enjoying the attention right now – learned the “stay tuned” gig from his Dear Leader.

The key is indeed when they say the dossier was “a” basis for the FISA warrant on Page. Not “the” basis, which would in fact be an abuse of power. It was one of several pieces of evidence, but of course the “memo” only mentions one of them. So technically it’s “factual”, while at the same time by leaving out other info it is “BS”.

Devin Nunes is dumber than a barn door. Imagine an agi major who snorted cocaine for 4 years at UC San Luis Obisbo heading the House Committee on intelligence and he has no prior experience and no background in law. The crime is how Paul Ryan justifies putting a total clown in charge of a committee. Apparently Paul Ryan loves Trump’s white nationalism and central
Authoritarian platform (a Nazi platform) to allow a Trump surrogate with no qualifications to lead a committee. Nunes is lying to the American people - he himself could be prosecuted for these actions.

Or maybe I read that wrong. Maybe he means Mueller.

“Let’s release the memo,” Duncan told the president after the conclusion of the speech.

“Oh yeah, don’t worry, 100 percent,” Mr. Trump responded, waving his hand as he did.

Mr. Trump added smilingly, “Can you imagine that?” Then, pointing to another member of Congress, said, “He’d be too angry.”

Nunes didn’t get accepted to UCSB out of high school - the rich family kid had to attend community college to pass high school equivalency in reading & comprehension. The under paid migrant farm workers on his daddy’s farm are smarter and better students than Paul Ryan’s pick! Amazing! The crime is how Paul Ryan justices putting a total clown in charge of a committee. Apparently Paul Ryan loves Trump’s white nationalism and central

Yes.

Republican criminals.

Yeah, who was he pointing to when he said that? Someone standing behind and off to the side of Duncan.
