Discussion: Inauguration Contractor And Ex-Aide To First Lady Says Was 'Thrown Under The Bus'

ā€œIā€™m not going to waste my time arguing the semantics of what the word ā€˜severedā€™ means simply because someone decided to run to the media with hurt feelings and a bruised ego."

Nice words to utter and have ringing in the ears of an aggrieved antagonist as they sit for interviews with investigators and prosecutors. Well played, Melania, well played.

"As stated more than a year ago, I wish Mrs. Wolkoff well.ā€

You too take care.

Sounds like olā€™ Stephanie has been attending the Ma Hamhocks School of ā€œHow to win friends and influence people.ā€

Oh, yeah, and it sounds like tempers are short and panic is rising as more and more of the abused underlings are beginning to be brave enough to start spilling the beans.

I like it.

ā€¦and a bunch of evidence regarding corruption in the inaugural process. Itā€™ll be quite interesting to see what she carried out with her, and how closely they tie into the shameful first family.

Every report Iā€™ve read says Wolkoffā€™s company was a $26,000,000 expense in the inaugural budget. Yet the numbers we see bandied about of late reference much smaller figures as to her fees, costs and compensation. Itā€™s a cinch Trump skimmed milions upon millions off the top of the funds raised for the inaugural. Every single veteran of previous inaugurals is at a total loss to explain how you burn through $108 million staging an inaugural. Because you donā€™t. Trump, or people close to him, stole a great deal of it. Book it.

ā€œWas I fired? No,ā€ Ms. Winston Wolkoff said in the statement. ā€œDid I personally receive $26 million or $1.6 million? No. Was I thrown under the bus? Yes.ā€

Man, what I would give to be a fly on the wall when this went down. ā€œHere, honey, we have roughly 180 kilograms of cash in these suitcases I need you to fly to New York with. When you get to Deutsche Bank branch office, call me for instructions. Take Barron, too!ā€

Apparently someoneā€™s been observing the crown princeā€™s mode of operation, and finding it desirable.

They want to be dictators, the whole lot of them. There are no limits to their depravity if given the opportunity. And, sadly, they are being given tons of opportunities.

She chose to get in the pool with the criminal fucks. If she came out dirty, screwed over, lied to, etc. then itā€™s on her.

Iā€™ve run out of sympathy (insert fucks to give here) for these folks who chose to get involved with the criminal operation.

Iā€™ve got no sympathy - but plenty of ā€˜supportā€™ for them turning states evidence.

The sooner the better.

What did she expect?

Trumpā€™s MO is to screw over his contractors. That was blindingly obvious even before the election.

$100 says that Stephanie Grisham will be ā€œseveredā€ with the next 6 months. And then SHEā€™ll run to the media with hurt feelings.

Damn, it must be crowded under that bus.

This one could get quite interesting. The Trump business model isnā€™t subtle. They used her as a type of straw recipient of funds, but itā€™s quite likely that a lot of that inaugural money was diverted to various Trump controlled accounts or to pay off Trump incurred debts. This might be one of the easier ways to expose Trumpā€™s essential corruption.

The House will start an investigation of the inaugural shenanigans. Maybe next week. Iā€™m sure a reasonable accommodation can be arrived at. By July. Or Thanksgiving.

For which there is no immediately applicable penalty to exact against him personally, or ever as the holder of the office of the Presidency.

ā€œshe is working with federal prosecutors who are investigating the spending and fundraising of the inaugural committee.ā€

Oh please tell. Just add it to the list for the SDNY.

Itā€™s clearly impeachable. The Trump Org and its principals would be under legal jeopardy, particularly in the State of NY. Just keep pushing. Something will break.

Draw up a list of 20 Republican Senators that will break ranks and convict. My opinion, there is no such list. You couldnā€™t find anyone in DC that would lay down $1000 getting half way to 20 was a winnable bet.
