The con man got caught with his pants down around his ankles on this one and YET is still trying to convince the world to believe HIM and not their lying eyes and ears and Mueller’s well-researched summary report. He is truly a one-trick pony.
I realize Stephanopoulos was trying to get every bit of news he could out of this interview, but I’d love one of these guys for once to just say, “Mr. President, you are full of shit !”

I doubt that McGahn lied under oath–his sense of self-preservation is too strong. But I am morally certain he has a yellow streak a mile wide down his back, and that is why he stands mute refusing to testify while Trump slanders him. McGahn is a coward through and through.

He’s NEVER had to be accountable for anything - his entire life. Never. Oh sure, he’s had to settle some lawsuits here and there, but never any serious accountability. Look at all of the powerful white men who paid no price - in any sense of the word - for creating a massive recession. Why should anyone them think this time is different? It’s beyond distressing. I’m sorry but fuck Robert Mueller.

Trump’s story doesn’t even make sense internally. McGahn committed perjury “in order to look like a good lawyer”?

We can see in this interview why Trump’s lawyers wouldn’t let him talk to Mueller. Trump is incapable of not lying. He just comes up with some story and runs with it. He builds his own reality as he goes and its relationship to actual reality is always tenuous. He’s a clear case of Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
That he has any power at all is an indictment of our nation’s dysfunction.
