I have a relative living in this district, a hard-core Democrat who has been working hard canvassing for Scholten. She said what struck her about 2016 was how many assholes came out to vote for Trump, people sheād never seen vote before in her small town. What will make a difference in whether Scholten has a chance of pulling this off is whether the assholes will be motivated to come out and vote for King. Sheās not so sure.
