Discussion for article #240090

Actually it shows the criminalization of crime…

Aww, Hucky, nobody wants to criminalize Christianity; we just don’t want religious beliefs running the show in lieu of the Constitution. Is that so hard to understand?

Shorter Huckabee: “Isn’t this terrible? Send me money.”

Since the Hucksterbee supports this kind of breaking of the law, he is a co-conspirator, and should head to jail tomorrow, too. The charge against the Husksterbee would be conspiracy to commit treason, a life-long sentence if found guilty.

All the candidates should be asked if they believe there are any circumstances under which God’s law should supersede civil law, whether legislative or judicial? If so, what are those circumstances?

Or intolerance under the guise of Christianity.

Oh great, we’re going to be hearing about this 80 grand a year martyr for the next several months.

Why is Huckabee running for president of the United States when he could be supreme leader of CSNA(Christian State of North America)?

You hit the nail on the head, Humpback ! He’s campaigning for cash to improve his ratings among the Christianly insane voting block.

No, it shows that breaking the law and being in contempt of both the law and of the courts lands you in jail. Not a real difficult concept to grasp.

How long before he’s prayin’ and wavin’ his flag-draped Bible and carrying a cross at the jail where KimDavis temporarily housed?

Think of the photo-op.

The Nuge band blaring ‘OnwardXianSoldiers’ with Mike on bass and Norris in his TX Rager outfit pumping up the twitter hits…

Some very public Divine Intervention would be appreciated…but breath not bated.

God this is a fun and entertaining day. Hey Huck, what’s the difference between god and a federal judge? God knows he’s not a federal judge. Ha Ha Ha! What a fine comeuppance.

Oh look, a man running for president who doesn’t believe in following the legal framework set out in the constitution. What could go wrong?

This is why I’m not so sure I agree with yesterday’s TPM Opinion column predicting that she wouldn’t be a rightwing hero. The pull of the martyrdom myth may very well draw GOP candidates back into this passion play as long as it continues to play out, and as long as each of them has to stand on the debate stage next to the Huckster, Sen. Cruz, Dr. Carson and the li’l Nazi from Texas.

Anyone care to bet that Pat Robertson will claim that the next catastrophe (hurricane, tornado, forest fire, stock market crash) to befall the U.S. will be because Kim Davis was sent to jail?

I believe Ben Carson was asked the equivalent question a few weeks ago by Chuck Todd. Todd asked whether the Bible superseded the constitution in terms of policies and laws and Carson replied in the affirmative. What was astounding was that this received no media attention of any kind.

Fuck You Mullah Huckabee.

You and your American Taliban zealots can stick it up your collective asses.

This country is ruled (most of the time) by Constitutional LAW. Not by your misinterpreted Sky God Fairy Tales.

The immediate follow up should be “how is that different from the Taliban?”
