That’s the wonderful thing about democracy. The people (collectively) get the government the majority voted for. Kansans voted for Brownback knowing he had thrown the economy into the pits. Same with Scott Walker. There’s an easy way to fix this.

What they’d deserve even more would be the Producer States’ representatives in Congress to tell the reps from Kansas that they’re getting nothing from the federal teat. Their people created this disaster, they should have to deal with the cleanup.

“Obamacare is helping Kansas address its fiscal crisis – even if Brownback’s administration seems loathe to admit it.” Small point, TPM, but it is LOATH, not LOATHE. “Loath” is an adjective that means “reluctant,” while “loathe” is a verb meaning “to strongly dislike.”

More specifically, the majority of Kansans who bothered to vote voted for Brownback. A lot of voters in Kansas didn’t think it was worth their time and effort.

Seems more like a case of robbing Peter to pay Paul, while claiming no such thing has happened. Now, if Democrats had any brains (oh, why do I bother?), we’d see some ads touting “ObamaCare is saving Kansas from Brownback’s fiscal mismanagement.” Or something like that. But of course, pointing out facts under 50 words is an alien concept to Dems.
