I hadnât thought about how Bush as well as Obama had defeated McCain in a presidential race, and Bush had used some pretty dirty tactics that not everyone would be inclined to forgive. Also it covers about 75 percent of the nation as far as political views go to have them both there. Itâs going to be a big recognition of the established order, the rule of law, the norms that made for productive governance, all that fun stuff. I have to give McCain props between this and the final statement read on Monday heâs trolling Trump from the beyond and itâs highly amusing to me.
I used to think that well-done steaks were an abomination. I still prefer mine medium-rare, but a steak can be cooked to well-done without destroying it. It has to be prepared sous-vide, though. (Sealed in a waterproof pouch and immersed in a water bath at the desired final temperature, 160F for well-done.) Then the cook takes it out of the pouch and sears the steak on the grill long enough to generate the Maillard reaction on the surface. Iâm certain Two-scoopsâ steaks are not prepared that way.
