Discussion: House Republicans Unveil Obamacare Repeal Legislation ... At Long Last

After 7+ years work, this cannot be all there is. It will never pass either house of Congress.

Bottom line: Don’t get really sick or you’re fucked. And if you have to get really sick, do it before 2020.

So after all this time, you got nothing.

In other words, screw all you poor and middle class people who are or might get sick. We have tax cuts to make!

And this will make those Town Hall meetings even more exciting, oh GOP, you can run but you can’t hide.

It’s poison pilled to hell and back and it looks like it’s designed to get everyone fighting about different provisions rather than being a quality piece of legislation…especially with that Cadillac plan part. That’s a huge bone of contention. They’re expecting people to play the FYGM game and in the end, it’s all going to screw over the poor.

The ONLY question is: Will everybody get insurance that’s better and cheaper? That’s the ONLY question. It’s either a Yes or a No. If it’s a Yes, great. If it’s No, it’s a CON. Trumpcare is a con.

Took them 7 years to come up with this?

Tryancare has been delivered. After 2020 Republican Death Panels will be in place to decide if you live or die.

Am I being dense here? How does a tax credit help buy insurance? You won’t realize that credit until the next year after 1 year of insurance, or 1 year of no insurance since you can’t afford to buy insurance until you get the credit.

I just can’t wait to see those smug grins slapped off their faces at the first vote …

And if not then , The next ELECTION ! –

So after 2020 there will be no more “poors,” “poors disabled”, kids born to “poors,” and no one will ever lose their crappy job, get a debilitating disease, and most importantly ever be poor again?
Can we foresee states dumping poors onto other states?

Will the 1040EZ form have a place where you can apply those tax credits?

Also, we’re finally free of that burdensome mandate. At last, we are a free people!

In their defense, they spent five years of that time preoccupied with Benghazi.

That’s the beauty of the program, they can’t penalize you for not buying in, but then if you don’t buy in then you can’t get a credit to help pay for the insurance. It’s the Republican’s world now and we just have to play along until 2018.

I have never understood, and I will never understand, how “the American people” tolerate paying for a Cadillac health care plan for members of Congress while being forced, by these very MOCs, to beg for crumbs themselves.

Just as I thought, their health care plan, amounts to a big fat zero!
