I really like what you did there.
No matter how much Gym Jordan wants to take one for the team, this isnât childâs play, and he needs to stop treating state officials with kid gloves.
So after attempting to obstruct Cummingsâs subpoena of Trumpâs accounts (Mazars LLP USA) Gym is doubling down on obstructing Cummingsâs proving R attempts to disenfranchise the âwrongâ people?
Bold move Cotton.
Well, of course they donât. Because thatâs the source. Itâs the primary reason a minority party has managed to remain in a majority position for so long.
I look forward to the day when no-one is gaming the system anymore, when our votes count properly, and the foreign assets embedded in that system are finally purged. Hahaha good luck with that, right?
Looking at YOU McConnell and Nunes (for starters)⊠goddamned traitorous fucks. And half of Trumpâs cabinet. Grassley is too out of it to be aware of whatâs going on around him, and Graham is just an unhinged sycophant. But those two? Russian assets. Guaran-fuckân-teed.
Also, when you have power, you use it (if you donât you are (in many cases rightfully) seen as weak. Rs understand weakness and strength, itâs their native language (Trumpâs need for dominance is Exhibit A)).
This is Dems using power, wisely.

Can we agree from this day forward that House Republicans Donât Want will be the default opening words of any story about the House Rs.
I can think of a few words one could use as a preface.
But perhaps Jordan is just wrestling with his inner demons. Perhaps he is being pinned to the mat by outside forces. The âstates rightsâ issue may have him in a choke-hold, a Constitutional âhalf-Nelsonâ, if you will.
Or maybe heâs just watches a lot of gladiator movies.
one quick questionâŠ
Since when did it become OK for congress critters (including and especially the minority members of a committee) to end-run Committee Heads like this?
Sorry, Gym. Elections have consequences. The American People have grown tired and weary of Republicans masquerading as the responsible Party. IOW, you lose. Get over yourself.
It isnât OK. Itâs Republicans. You were expecting responsible governance, maybe?
Hahahaha touchĂ©âŠ
So if Republicans are running the panel, like his voter fraud panel, states should comply. But if Democrats are running the panel, F them.
Got it.
Pretty pointless concern, since the Republicans will escalate whether or not the Dems give them a good reason to.
Jim Jordan goes out of his way once more to make his BFF Louis Gohmert look like a sentient being.
Republican Jim Jordan who has previously aped the famous 3 Monkeys to OVERLOOK instead of having Congressional OversightâŠ
1 See no evil monkey,
2 Hear no evil monkey,
3 Speak no evil monkeyâŠ
Is whining/complaining of the very thing they had done to the Dems for the wrong reasonsâŠ
In order to protect Republicans who lie, cheat and steal to win elections (i.e. NC),
Notwithstanding widespread gerrymandering & voter suppression Republicans have systematically engineered!
We have seen the Republicans walk away from their proclaimed faith+values to make Faustian bargain with Individual1 (an Un-indicted Co-conspirator) in order to âown the Libsâ, stay in power & enrich themselves!
Meanwhile, Republicans keep giving Individual1 endless mulligans or aiding/abetting (think unchristian-like evangelical Christians or Nunes) in order to lie to themselves that what they have done, what they are doing, what they will continue to do is the right thing to do! WRONG - it just shows the true hypocritical, deceitful, & unchristian-like character of the Republicans in their desperate need to hold on to their power & gravy train!
That was my first thought, too. The Republicans did not seem to have similar concerns about the document requests by the so-called Voter Fraud Commission, nor about their demand to produce personal info on the citizens of the states. In fact, I seem to recall threats being made against those who dared to defy the illegitimate, illegal requests by the likes of Kobach et.al.
He excels at The Reach Around
Hey Jordan SCOTUS in Shelby v. Holder said if the Congress wants to fix 4(b) then the Oversight Committee needs to get information from the states. Yeah I know you donât think itâs a problem that since 2013 when this decision was handed down states have closed 1000 polling places, which effects mostly minority African-American neighborhoods, which has an effect of reducing voter turn out. So stuff if Jordan, youâre in charge anymore.
