not only does he not speak spanish he barely listens even in english let alone listening in spanish…
He has been reaching out. They (like most Americans) do not like what he’s reaching out. Most people have an aversion to feces.

I love it when Republicans now all like to give Rumpass advice on how to attract minorities, especially Hispanics. They used to be content with themselves having no more than the Cubans in Florida and a handful of Latinos around the country supporting them. They can’t get away with that shit anymore because they can’t ignore the numbers, even though they’ve been told this would be the case years ago, and they’d have to temper their malicious attacks on the undocumented. These same Republicans have spent the last close to 8 years demonizing Hispanics, refusing to do anything in regards to comprehensive immigration reform and threatening to deport, self-deport, deny them services for healthcare and education, or round them up and put them in camps like we used to do to Japanese Americans. Its not Rumpty Trumpty that’s the bigger problem here. Like J. Marshall said on one of his blogs…Drumpf’s the symptom of a party gone off the rails, but the GOP hate-machine and vitriol towards minorities is the disease.

And, yeah, Rump needs to do more than chow down on a supposed “taco bowl” to show support for the CA Hispanic population.
Trump’s version of reaching out:
“Look you Mexicans, you are rapists – I’m a rapist! You are takers – I love taking from other people. My wife does, too – just look at how she stole that black woman’s words and made them her own! You like working under the table and not paying any taxes – well, I’ve gypped the U.S. government out of well over $250M in taxes about ten years ago (land, property deals, etc., outside/foreign holding companies, etc., which is just now being investigated by some journalists). I’ve hired many a dirty day workers to do my construction work … and never pay taxes on them either! Look, we have a lot of common ground, here, amigos!” 
I haven’t seen that angle in play much, but boy howdy that was what jumped out at me too. It’s really, really ugly.
Well, I know someone who lived there for years and described it as the armpit of the world. Basically, not the California you dream about in any way. Apparently there is a large minority population but they have little power in the solidly entrenched class system there. Of course that’s one person’s view, and second hand.
I wish for Trump to spend 100% of his time in California for his scampaign going forward. That’s my suggestion.
