Discussion: House GOP Abandons Border Crisis Bill Amid Conservative Opposition

I will at least commend the new GOP House Majority Whip - unlike the former Whip, he apparently has the ability to count to 218

Way to go, GOP. You built that.

Reportedly GOP hardliners wanted to replace the “Feed the brown children into a cannon and shoot it into the ocean” clause with the “Feed the brown children into a cannon and shoot it into the sun” clause.

“There are numerous steps the president can and should be taking right now, without the need for congressional action…”

Isn’t this the kind of unilateral action for which Republicans want to sue the President? What POSSIBLE incentive could he have to do anything to bail these people (Congress) out?

Pelosi about the House bill:

“Oh my god. It was so awful,”

Kinda like “Sharknado”. If the GOP congress was a sci-fi movie it would be “Slothapocalypse”

They just hang there and do very little VERRRY SLOWWWWLY!

That was the plan from the beginning.
Republicans like to appear to back the middle class but they really favor cheap labor.

If Republicans appeared that way to you then they must have really fooled you blind.

Maybe Congress should just stay home for the next session. It would save on travel expenses.
Broadcast TV could just replay the tapes of this session. They same amount of work {never} get done.

Can we just call Boehner the “Sqeaker of the House”?

Is it true that President Obama is recruiting his friends and family, retired military, and the unemployed to drive bus loads of immigrant children up here from Central America? I heard that they’re trying to take advantage of the current situation to get a few million kids up here, half of whom will be indoctrinated into a lifetime of Democratic beliefs and voting, and the other half for medical experiments funded by the federal government. And in addition to those obvious benefits, the whole thing will distract us from the Benghazi scandal.

We can only hope this happens. Each day that the impeachment talk continues, each day the House fails to act on immigration is another day we have to wake up and get the Latino vote to the polls this November.

Expect to that exact segment tonight on TRMS!

And, the GOP shows again why they are unfit to lead.

If the GOP regain the Senate for 2014, Obama will never have to use the veto pen because they won’t be able to pass anything anyway. If you’re a GOPer, even an attempt to legislate makes you “part of the problem in DC” and you’ll be challenged by some bigger lunatic in your district waving a “Don’t Tread On Me” flag.

I’m glad I did not place a bet on that; I figured they’d at least get something done before their vacay.

I was clearly wrong on that.

And they wonder why Obama steps over their lazy asses to get things done.

Worst do-nothing Congress, EVER. Where the hell is the leadership???
