By definition, homosexuality cannot be a religion, because (according to most of my gay and lesbian friends) homosexuality is actually pretty fun.
QED, laugh it ought of the courtroom.
No rainbows, only Trump white, blue, and red for youâŚ
Sevier argued in the complaint that ââhomosexualityâ and other forms of self-asserted sex-based identity narratives are a âreligionââ and that the flags symbolized the âhomosexual denomination.â
WellâŚif homosexuality is a religion then homosexuals would be far more protected under the first amendment and not have to go thorough all the fuss they have because you assholes wonât leave them be.
AndâŚif homosexuality is a religion and they decide to build a big church, they can be tax exempt!
So if homosexuality is a religion, there are a lot of interesting people and places who will suddenly be tax-exempt. Between that and secular humanism it could be a whole new fiscal landscape.
This guy shouldnât just be laughed out of court, he should be sanctioned.
But even Donnie has pride from some apparently very confused LGBTQ folksâŚ
Admittedly, Donnie thought it was a beach towel at the time, but stillâŚ
Sevier is fighting against the Homosexual Denomination, whose official prayer is:
Our homosexual Daddy, who art in homosexual Heaven! Hallowed be thy fabulous name! Your Kaweendom Cum, your Will be done. Give us this day our daily bred, and forgive us our naughtiness, as we forgive others. Lead us into temptation, and deliver our evil. A-Men!
Is Republicanism also a religion?
heâs a total crank. I just thumbed through the complaint and âexhibidâ and heâs just a nutcase.
More of a disease or genetic deficiency.
âI will fight this hateful attempt to silence equality and justice. We have come too far to allow the voices of bigotry and hate to win,â Lowenthal responded on Facebook on Wednesday.
Once again, solid evidence for . . .
-
Everything that conservatives complain about is nothing more than
simple projection, and serves to telegraph their actual intentions. - Conservatives canât grok irony - not just donât, they cannot
understand the concept - somehow, someway, itâs genetic.
As though such additional evidence was really necessary.
Chris Sevier, an attorney who unsuccessfully argued that he should be able to marry his âporn-filledâ laptopâŚ
And this guy complains about what he calls other peopleâs âself-asserted sex-based identity narrativesâ?!?
Chris Sevier, an attorney who unsuccessfully argued that he should be able to marry his âporn-filledâ laptop under marriage equality.
He was unsuccessful because the laptop filed for a restraining order citing physical and mental cruelty and is now living under an assumed name in a different state.
I have a hunch that youâve confused Rep. Alan Lowenthal (D-CA) with Chris Sevier, who filed the lawsuit. I initially made that same mistake.
DOH! youâre absolutely right - thanks for pointing that out.
The point is still valid thoughâŚamiright?
Yes, indeed!
Aha, yet another candidate for an institution for the significantly off-center
This was my first thought as well.
Guess weâve settled the whole âreligious freedomâ scam before it even got started. I always suspected The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence had the right idea.
Thatâs classic. (And I will bet that it makes the court staffâs wall of shame.)
What a nut. This is from an April Raw Story article:
Chris Sevier has filed a lawsuit against the Harris County district clerk, Gov. Greg Abbott and Attorney > General Ken Paxton, arguing that he has been denied civil rights to marry the Mac computer he uses to create electronic dance music, reported the Midland Reporter-Telegram.
Sevier, a Vanderbilt Law School graduate who says heâs âhardcore involved in the music industry,â has filed the same lawsuit in two other states and plans to sue in 12 other states in hopes of getting two federal courts to disagree.
â[This lawsuit] is not a matter of whoâs on the right side of history,â Sevier said. âThis is about who is on the right side of reality. Are we just delusional?â
Projection? Guilty!
