He married Lois in a previous time frame (i say previous,because DC Comics did a timeline reset)and Wonder Woman is supposedly his girlfriend (again supposedly).
One of the things that irritated me about this cycle was this still existent belief that Trump can’t be politically harmed by fallout.
Though three particular groups (the apathetic, the Trump voters and those who voted 3p) have kept that belief alive, every strongman needs support.
That’s why i keep advocating about putting any Chaffetz, Ryan,McCarthy,McConnell and Cornyn statements about Trump into the record.
If they are cool with Trump skirting (i knooo) the ethics line, then anything that they say should be seen as an endorsement.

I certainly agree with that. Usually what the strong man really needs is the military but that’s another issue one hopes.
I rather think the harm politically is more likely going to be on the Republicans, and I think the reason this belief exists is because so far, I can’t see that he has been. I understand that will change when he tries to get things done, but that makes an interesting intersection for the Republican House and I have no idea what is really going to happen next. hahaha

This should be pursued with the furor and thoroughness of the Benghazi and emails investigations. The difference is that there was and is nothing to find in Clintons cases. However, the Orange One has openly admitted to conflicts of interest, nepotism, seeking office for financial enrichment, and tax evasion. Lock him up. He is beyond guilty, but not above the law.

Yep. He doesn’t have the balls, and he doesn’t care, as long as a Republican is in power. that is all that matters to him. He is in a bit of a bind. If he continues to investigate Clinton, and does nothing with Trump it will simply prove it was and is a Political Witch hunt.

In other news, Hillary’s lead here in California just passed 4 million, which means I think she still wins by Trump math.
I’m going to take what solace I can in the knowledge that there are some things that are beyond the pale even for R’s in Congress. Remember that Tricky Dick resigned when House and Senate Republicans told him that (1) He would be impeached; and (2) there were not enough votes in the Senate to save his ass.
At some point the stink of corruption reeks to the point that even Republicans cannot ignore the stench and survive the next election.
