Another Republican Speaker of the House that can’t even manage his own delegation, let alone the House at large. If there’s one thing the GOP is very consistent on, it’s an inability to govern effectively and that’s done by building a coalition, following the rules and acting like adults.
Since Obama has promised to veto the bill if it comes through conference with this provision intact, the republicans are actually voting against funding our troops.

It is great that we have a complete list of the traitors, but I will bet they are each re-elected in November. They get away with this nonsense because there is no penalty, no punishment. Dollars to donuts those folks are all enjoying a good laugh at the expense of the nation.
And still, military people think the GOP has its best interests at heart.
I would love to see a rule change in Congress that forces the inclusion of amendments to bills only germaine to the bill at hand. While LGBTQ legislation is important, it had no business being tacked on to the defense budget bill. If it hadn’t the merit to stand on its own, the LGBQT bill should not have been brought to the floor. Period.
Guess Obama will veto the bill, right?
