If you heard Morning Joe this morning with the Claire McCaskill the Dems have a meeting a noon today, so Trump knew this so invited Dems to his quick meeting at noon. This is so disrespectful to Congress, Trump is just playing games,laughing at what Fox says, that the Dems refused to meet with him when Trump knew they couldn’t.

Not a single GOP rep is from a border district
 the only GOP Rep from a southern border district is Hurd of Texas who is ex-CIA and against the border wall (as is every other House rep who actually represents a border district.)

The further away from the border, the more likely a Trump supporter will buy into the emergency narrative. I mean, seriously, what does someone from Illinois know about security along the Mexico border? It’s not like the Great Lakes are a giant unsecured border
 oh right. But Canadians are generally whiter.

This is a subtle but important development in this saga. Trump is trying to project a world of ‘unreality’ onto our reality and the legislative process. That’s the world he is most comfortable in because of his severe narcissistic personality disorder and his embarrassing unfitness for the job (and also because he’s working for Russia, not for us). We need to knock him into reality. Rejecting him in this way will be viewed as a personal affront by him and it may shock him into realizing that what he thinks is a comfort zone is essentially like skating on ice that is thinning as it melts.

This is like the time Trump announced he ‘would’ formalize DACA in return for the $25B Chuck offered and then there was a meeting to seal the deal with Tom Cotton and Jim Jordan and Steve King in attendance and they said NO to everything except 'give us the $25B for Wall. OR if we give you DACA we get to cut ALL immigration to ZERO and throw out all the people here on ‘temporary status’ visas (like the Haitians and Guatemalans and Somali) but have been here up to 30yr.
