DO IT! Come on people and quit the GOP! Don’t threaten and then roll over meekly! Quit the GOP!

Let’s face it, the GOP knows all about quitting.

My question is if they do, how will anybody know the difference?

Retiring from Congress when a term ends isn’t really quitting. The headline is a tease.

Pretty weak threat. The GOTea will simply pickup the open seats.

The smarter GOP idiots should quit now, rather than wait for the landslide that ousted the Conservatives in Canada.

Quit now!

“If WE don’t get our way we will pick up what few marbles we have left and GO HOME! NYA!”
Yeah, that’s an adult message.

Maybe the voters will wise up?

maybe not. if the small number of non-wacko R’s all retire, the Ds could pick up a few. would be the sweetest of ironies if the nihilist caucus allowed the dems to overcome gerrymandering.

Yeah, right. And give your princely powers and committee seats?

well, you could try voting for what you think is right, even if it is not the party line.

In what universe would King be considered a moderate? I’d love for the crook to pull a Palin and give up.

Yes, this line of threat is going to work. Besides, Paul Ryan is the worst possible choice for Speaker. Go ahead quit.

How’s that Hastert working out for ya? Dolts.

Instead of retiring, how about working with Dems to actually get things done and marginalize the tea party? Let them throw their tantrums, and move on.

GOP voters have proven that they are unbelievable stupid. Trump, Carson and Cruz as front runners? Those people are not going to smart up, the hatred and resentment that drives them prevents it.

If We Don’t Get Paul Ryan For Speaker, We Might Quit!

I’d buy that for a dollar!

Threatening to retire strengthens the moderates hand. It wouldn’t be hard for a block of “retiring” moderates to reach across to Democrats to get things done. The “retiring” part cuts the legs out from the threat of a tea party primary.

When the going gets tough, the tough they quit. Or something.

If course these so-called “moderates” could compromise and work with Democrats, you know, like the Constitution and the founding fathers intended our system to work.

Nope. These “patriots” will have none of that craziness like working with others like a responsible adult and do the publics business like you were elected to do.
