And he definitely has a black friend too.

Is this like ‘Donald Sterling wasn’t racist because he owned a basketball team?’

Dude is 42 and reaching back to Jr. College to prove he’s not a racist? Got it.

A voice from the Deep South here; they’re both racists. By “both” I mean McD and the kluxer who wrote that editorial.

If they did a little research on their own, they would find out that McDaniel was a basketball standout at South Jones and Jones County Junior College.

Heard there are pictures of him eating watermelon and fried chicken too!

Yeah, and there are photos of former used car salesman Rick Perry shaking hands with Hispanics as they climb into the junker he sold them.

This is really the story that just keeps on giving. The only thing that would make it even better would be if team-mates from back in the day came forward and confirmed that the White Boy Could Not Indeed Jump.

I love the taste of wingnut tears in the morning. It tastes like…victory.

This is a joke, right? That “editorial” is actually from The Onion, right? Right?

I really like fried chicken. So I can probably say what I want about blacks since at this point they’re basically “my people” right?

It must have been tough for McDaniel to play bball while wearing his hood.

Oh so the Dolphins player who said all those racist things and did those racist acts isn’t really racist since he played football with Blacks?

The other thing that people forget, though, is that except for the most absolutely “kill em all” racists, they DO have black friends. It’s just this particular one is OK because of this reason and that one isn’t bad either. And eventually they run down the list of every non-their-race-person they know and they’re all exceptions.

But, you know, all the other ones of those people, except for the list of exceptions (containing the list of all the ones who have been humanized) are the BAD ones.

That’s great! When his team lost a game, how much money did they raise from out-of-state teams, trying to work the refs?

He likes black people? Seems like he should be happy that all those black folk voted in the election then.

Even Cliven Bundy managed to whip out a token as a feeble shield.

Shows how hated McDaniel must be.

Records of Chris McDaniel’s web browsing reveal that his daily perusal of the website blackpleasure.net also proves he is not racist.

Since the Voting Rights Act, Southern “race-baiting” has apparently taken on a different meaning.

So…at some point will conservatives finally understand how condescending it is to insist that black people only vote for Democrats because they’re stupid and easily misled? Like this dude’s argument, which essentially taunts black people into voting Republican to prove that they’re not stupid. As if that has any chance of working.

And he’s far from the only one making this inane and counterproductive argument, which is part of the irony, in that conservatives really ARE easily misled when they vote for Republicans. And that, in fact, by repeating this terrible argument yet again, it only shows how stupid and misled they are. Yet I’m sure if Obama tried to tell them they should start voting Democrat to prove they’re not stupid and misled, they’d instantly see how bad an argument it is and would likely use it as yet another reason to impeach him. But instead, they’ve been inoculated against any argument that’s deemed racist, under the belief that racism is a myth except for how it’s used against white people. And so if you tried to point out the inherent racism in their argument, they’d get upset at you for using the R word when it can’t possibly apply to them since they don’t hate all black people; only the “bad” ones…which is most of them.

And so they just can’t see how black people might be just like themselves and vote according to their own self interests, rather than because they’re sheep. And yet if anything, it’s black people who really DO vote for their self interests, while conservatives are easily misled and shoot themselves in the foot when they keep voting for Republicans who have no interest in helping anyone but themselves.
