Discussion: Hawaii Senator: False Alarm Of Incoming Missile Was 'Totally Inexcusable'

Yes. Trump is a low life and there are not many people on his side. If you think he or his people deliberately did this, you are just tripping because it would not even be possible for those hated buffoons, and no one would follow through on such orders. Stuff like this can happen. I’m more worried not about the false alarm, but the delayed time to rectify it. 38 minutes is a long time to be in alert mode.

I think that trump is in large part responsible for the terror the people in Hawaii felt…even though this was a false alarm. Trump’s inflamed rhetoric with Kim Jon Un is the reason. Donnie, you have everybody on edge. You owe the people of Hawaii an apology. Especially if you actually are on good terms with Kim as you said you “might” be.

This is on your doorstep, donnie dotard.

Actually, Norway has free single payer health care and free university education for citizens and foreign students alike. Why would anyone from Norway come to a shithole country where college costs over $70,000 per year and the first attempt at a national health insurance is being sabotaged by a political party that mostly represents Southern Segregationists, the corporate members of the NRA, the likes of Adelson, Koch Bros, and Goldman Sachs, and who think the North Sea warming Norwegians are observing can be ignored forever.

It’s not all bad. Alex Jones knows how to twist it to blame Clinton & Party :

VIDEO: HAWAIIAN NUCLEAR FALSE MISSILE ALERT NOT AN ACCIDENT
Also comes as DOJ unseals indictments related to Uranium One

And where was the Apprentice? Golfing.

Ethics?
“In a bombshell revelation, the Central Intelligence Agency reached out to Democrats serving on the Select Committee on Benghazi on Saturday, October 17, 2015 to confirm that Chairman Trey Gowdy had altered documents provided to the committee by Hillary Clinton.”

The Palmer Report has some reasonably plausible speculation about why Trey Gowdy is resigning from the House Ethics Committee after he was on the committee to make sure it exonerated Devin Nunes after a rather lightning quick one month, given all the underhanded stuff Nunes has been up to since he was on the Trump Transition team (with Gowdy).

What I find interesting in that link…

The only mention of unsealed indictments from the DOJ is in the headline.

They don’t come here. On average about 500 a year move here from Norway. More American’s move to Norway though. I grew up not far from Norway and have been there many times. It’s popular to talk about their education or healthcare as why they’re the happiest people on earth but that really isn’t the reason a Norwegian thinks he’s got it good. The Scandinavian countries abide by the idea of a government “of, by and for the people”. They treat each other like adults and feel deeply about “inalienable rights”. Other places claim to feel that way but don’t walk the walk, so to speak. That’s why Norway usually occupies “the happiest country in the world” spot unless it’s trading it off for the number 2 slot with Denmark or sometimes my home, The Netherlands. The USA took the 14th slot in 2017.

Believe me, (to quote someone I hate) I did not mean to limit the advantages or attractions or culture or political culture of Norway to those two things. I unfortunately only know Sweden, Norway and Denmark through early juvenile reading about Vikings and mid life and later some wonderful exemplars of detective fiction. I am sure that another advantage is they do not have the malign presence of a Rupert Murdoch propaganda empire. Thanks. I do think that government funded health insurance and education are two huge advantages, which many European countries on the West side of the Cold War deliberately adopted in spite of any inflated rhetoric about socialism and collectivism etc.

Had trump not given personal attacks to NK, this likely would not have had the impact it had. I blame trump almost completely.

Difficult to know, but Trump’s antics are stupid and dangerous regardless.

Like AP articles, that’s often all that’s read.

(I confess, I didn’t watch Jones.)
