Yes. It happened because Hawaii Civil Defense, like all our other state agencies, is grossly incompetent and incapable of handling basic tasks. The state government here is a disaster.
He does that just fine with his tweets. Sending out obvious false alarms doesnāt instill fear after you realize itās not real, just anger and resentment, and less fear the next time it comes.

And everyone knows that weād rather get hit with Norwegian misses. Theyāre much better than missiles from some shithole country where they randomly select any old missile out of a bowl, and then send the missilesā children along behind them (because of chain firing).

So the news about the White Houseās reaction is that this is a failure of the state government, and itās waiting to get all the details before it issues a statement. 
Also, did Kelly OāDonnell say that all Trump has done is play golf today and tweet about Fire and Fury?

Itās inexcusable that the Commander-in-Chief did not get on the air ways immediately when he was informed of the mistake instead of continuing to play golf. It was his military command that made the snafu. The buck stops with him when there is a nuclear emergency. He left our citizens hanging out to dry in Hawaii all by themselves when he knew the truth.

What are the chances of having a false alarm of this magnitude like a year ago a month from now or maybe last saturday or next sunday.

Reading the NYT report, happened during shift change - and NOW they have a two step procedure. You know, like an āare you sure you want to send thisā message. Gross incompetence is burning kind. It then took 40 minutes to correct the message, and then change the procedure. Jeez. Wonder if there is any unified procedure across the country. And if the military responded. Pathetic incompetence.
We have our share of tinfoil moments chez blue including believing the results of PuPPetās physical being doctored the by the doctor to reveal heās the healthiest but most overweight and fattest guy in the US. But there is a glimmer of hope the Koreas will reunite and I hope it comes to something not only as a deterrent to Dotard buf for the sake of the suffering and starving N. Korean people.
