Hatch thinks he isn’t a nut? To slimers like Hatch not being able to impose your religious beliefs on others is taking away the religious freedom of the extremities

I guess they’re quaking in their boots over at SCOTUS because Orrin Hatch on a rampage is a pretty fearful sight.

Good. Keep up the anti-gay fight. It’s your party that’s getting hammered over it as long as you choose to fight it.

Is that the sound of size 6 1/2 wingtips I hear stamping?

Yes, Orrin, you do that.

You do that.

This ranks up there with Bush claiming to plan to amend the constitution to proclaim marriage only be between a man and a woman.

Ha Ha.

At first, I thought that Sen. Orrin Hatch speaking on religious freedom to impose yours on others in Wood Cross, Utah was simply more messing with us.

Actually, if we can trust Wikipedia in this instance, it’s Woods Cross, named after Daniel Wood, an early settler in those parts. I’m sure it’s an interesting story why the apostrophe was left out of the city’s name and equally sure that Orrin Hatch has reached an age where he could tell it.

“Religious freedom is what keeps us free almost more than anything else.”

Fuck. All this time I thought it was guns…

If slavery were still legal, Hobby Lobby would own lots of them. They might well treat them better than the WalMart or McDonalds plantations, taking full public credit for their relative generosity of course, but their dominion would be unchallenged and unmistakable.

Let’s see now…“religious freedom” means free not only to practice religion, but free from religion, if so chosen. I look at it like the LGBT issue: You are free to practice your religion, and your sexual preference, as you choose, and I will gladly defend your right to do so, as long as you don’t try to convert me.
Don’t see how that needs improvement.

The Religious Freedom Restoration Act was never intended to apply to incorporated businesses.

If there’s a politician in Washington D.C. that can give Mitch McConnell a run for the money as the most dishonest, despicable and corporate owned politician to ever set foot in our nations capital, its Orrin Hatch.

“And I believe I can put one on that everybody in this country, except the nuts, will support.”

So if you’re NOT misogynistic or homophobic – you’re a nut???

How I wish I could tell him to F*CK himself.

“I shouldn’t talk like that, but I’ve reached an age that I can say whatever I want. Especially because it’s true,” he continued.

Yes, it is true you are an old coot.

Proceed Senator.

The Hobby Lobby case is anti-women, not anti-gay. You need to keep your “groups republicans hate” straight.
