by all means, push for a constitutional amendment. it will never happen. this country couldn’t even support an equal rights amendment for women, for chrissakes. there’s no chance in hell that this asshole will ever succeed.

Amazingly, Orrin actually managed to piss off all the veterans’ groups here in utah for mixing politics with honoring service members on Memorial Day. Even the VFW! Blowback has been uniform and strong.

Borin Orrin is one of my Senators and he’s been batshit crazy for many years. He can get away saying this kind of stuff at a picnic in the second most conservative county in the second most conservative state but a Constitutional amendment is a joke.

BTW, Hatch ran against and beat a 3 term Democratic Senator saying he had been there too long and promised no more that 2 terms. He was last elected to his 8th Term. Liar as well Orrin.

Therefore, if there’s something THEY don’t
like, a rule THEY don’t agree with, they
feel as thought THEY have the right to
change it to comport with THEIR beliefs.
Yet the laws THEY support must be written
IN STONE! The rest of us just have to deal
with it! It’s THEIR world, we are just an annoyance
to them.
Just like a petulant child, if they don’t get THEIR way,
they whine & cry, & throw a hissy fit.
This is just another reason to get off the couch
