Thanks, Harry.

We really could have used one more SC Justice, though.

Harry, over the years I haven’t always agreed with your message or your method but you have always been an outspoken critic of the unfair and unjust, and an advocate for the least among us.

We’re really going to miss you, Sir, and I thank you for the years you’ve given us all!

@sickneffintired - who could have possibly imagined that a wealthy fast food mogul would take issue with the minimum wage. What next? Concerns over overtime rules? A fry cook can’t be changed to a salaried employee?

Good luck, Trumpeteers!

“Reid, 77, grew up in the dusty town of Searchlight, Nevada, where he hitchhiked to school and took up baseball—a passion that he still has. His mom took odd jobs washing and ironing to make ends meet. His father was a hard rock miner who committed suicide when Reid was 32.”

Trump: “Losers!”

What an unfortunate surname.

Could be a case of nominative determinism.

You could always just abbreviate it to Puz.

I remember when Harry was ‘tapped’ to be leader and we all wondered who he was. NOW we will all know him and will miss him.

Their reaction to this will perhaps reveal that Trump’s base was never the whole “working class,” but rather only the upper end of it. The ones who already make more than $15/hr and benefit from having a large group who don’t. That old psychological bludgeon of being happy as long as you’re not on the bottom. Being proud as long as there is at least one neck to step on beneath you.

Well, that’s true - I do see the same. I was going off of the average income of his supporters. Well, in either case you’re right - they all got scammed.

That’s right. Winners don’t play baseball; they own baseball teams.

Of course, Trump once owned a professional football team. Anyone remember what happened to that business venture?

His first draft included “Suck my balls, Mitch!”

Not necessary. Except in your prepubescent mind.

Puzder has also opined that replacing human employees with robots and other mechanized “labor” has nothing but upsides…paraphrasing “machines don’t come to work late, demand higher wages/benefits, call in sick, or talk back”.
