Neither Greta nor Billo are remotely qualified to call for The head of the CDC to quit. They are talking heads who know nothing about science , what the CDC does, or how it operates.

Here’s a future transcript of Bill O. entering a FEMA quarrantine zone when the 2015 ebola plague blossoms in the US:
B.O: “OK, let me just put on this suit here. Err, ummph, uggh. This fuckin’ suit is too small for me. Can someone get me a goddamn suit that fits!”
(makes angry faces; impatient)
B.O.: “Let’s try it again. (zip, fumble fumble) God damn it! Who made this fucking suit!”
(listens to earpiece intently)
B.O.: “We gotta go in? FUCK IT! I’M GOING IN LIVE! I’M DOING IT LIVE!”
(Bill throws the hazmat suit off camera, and transforms his face into a saccharine smile)
B.O.: “Good evening everybody. Bill O’Reilly here, coming to you live from Dallas TX …”

Greta’s comment falls into either the stopped clock category or the blind hog category—possibly both.
There are about 350 million people in America. Fox ‘News’ Channel’s most popular program draws ~2 million old, white and unemployed male viewers sitting around the house all day screaming at the TV.
2 million viewers out of 350 million- less than 0.5% of America’s population.
So who cares what Fox or their audience is babbling on about??? They are not a responsible news organization with journalists- they’re an entertainment factory whose ‘hosts’ are paid to spew utter nonsense and every time we click on a story and shake our heads in dismay we’re renewing their contracts.
Why lend them any credence whatsoever, beyond their major accomplishment of providing late-night TV comedian fodder…their frothing inanity and manufactured outrage should be met with either stony silence or howls of derisive laughter.
We need to stop paying them any notice whatsoever.

Yeah, we have no Surgeon General, the Clinton-era dingle-berry that’s head of HHS is from the OMB with zero qualifications in the health field, and the one guy who’s doing the job for all three should resign.
The second US case was reported today, and that individual took a flight between Cleveland and Dallas. Hopefully no bathroom breaks were involved.
So O’Reilly’s answer is to fire the one person in charge … especially since the Republicans have thwarted every single Obama appointment, hell, we don’t even have a Surgeon General, thanks to the Republicans … But it’s all Obama’s fault … oh, and Benghazi.

Empty, which is just the way the conservatives want it. Somehow they believe that bad things will happen only to “those” people, not themselves, when something like a pandemic develops. They understand only fantasy.
So she expressed disagreement with some of her (even more insane that her) colleagues at Fox…so what? Getting rather sick of TPM and the MSM trying to treat her as some sort of “independent voice” or some such nonsense. When, in truth, she deals in the exact same propaganda and conspiracy theory as the most extreme RWNJs. Is she still a regular panelist on the Sunday talkers (MTP, This Week, etc)? I’ve refused to watch them anymore since they went full-tilt on the “balanced reporting means treating bald-faced lies as an ‘opposing viewpoint’” fallacy.
Well, it’s good to know she hasn’t totally sold out to the reality deniers.
