Can’t admit they were wrong… so fuck everyone who wants affordable healthcare.

How crass and cynical, not to mention cruel and vindictive, is that kind of thinking? Who cares who lives or dies? Who cares if people go bankrupt again seeking healthcare for their children? Who cares if the US is the only major country to deny healthcare as a right to its citizens.

We made a promise once!

Of course, we could list all of the other promises each of these monsters made during their political lives that they now ignore, but …Obama!!!

They’ve also promised to cut waste, fraud, and the deficit. But it doesn’t seem to bother them that they never do that.

"Republicans campaign on this so often that you have a responsibility to carry out what you said in the campaign.”

“That’s pretty much as much of a reason as the substance of the bill,” he added.

You know, if the Republicans had made clear to people all along that what they “said in the campaign” actually had nothing to do with “substance,” maybe some of those people would have voted differently.

Just a guess.

“You know, I could maybe give you 10 reasons why this bill shouldn’t be considered,” Grassley told Iowa reporters on a call, according to the Des Moines Register. “But Republicans campaigns on this so often that you have a responsibility to carry out what you said in the campaign.”

How sad is that for all we have been through. Maybe, just maybe, it is time to admit that massive restructuring has failed. Partisanship has failed. Perhaps it is time to sit down and consider common sense, bipartisan steps that we could take to lower cost and improve quality.

You nasty little creep. You have TOTALLY forgotten your duty to your voters. It’s NOT the lies you’ve told that you have to keep but the good you’ve done for them. You are totally devoid of any ethics, morals or values.

Let’s see now…Chuck Grassley, Joni Ernst, Steve King… Congratulations Iowa, you sure know how to pick 'em!

We said we were going to be heartless assholes, so we´d better be heartless assholes.

Otherwise, we´ll look bad.

O you think, Grassley? Well then go right ahead. I’m sick of hearing about it. Do it - give us one overwhelming issue to campaign on next year.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Grassley is the embodiment of today’s Trump GOP. He combines unwarranted arrogance with dismissive contempt for his constituents and creates a complete package of stupid.

Are they aware that some people might turn to “second amendment remedies” once their health insurance goes away? No lifetime limits in ACA was a big deal - just as important as no exclusions based on pre-existing conditions.

They stopped being a political party in any way a while back. It’s a full-on cult now, like Jonestown, with no rational reasons on offer for doing what they do. It’s an article of faith that the ACA must go, and that’s all there is to it. But in Jonestown they only forced 918 people to die. This is going to be a lot worse.

“Republican’ts campaigned on driving straight down this road. Now if it happens to lead us right off of a cliff, it’s more important that we keep our campaign promise than it is not to drive off of a cliff. What are you, anyway? A SOCIALIST???”

Yeah. Republican’t Logic. The biggest oxymoron since Compassionate Conservative…

They must have also promised to cut life spans, productivity and general well-being.
