Seriously, it’s called “ProLifeCon?” It is a con alright. The Republicans do not want this issue to go away. How else will they gin up the base?

One more clueless insensitive man talking about issues he should not. He and the rest regard it as a talking point that needs to be honed for wingnut consumption, when at bottom it’s a medical procedure preceded by agonizing decision making all involving no one but women. I hate these guys.

‘It’s like, you know, I guess I just don’t understand why we’re having such a hard time defining what rape is, considering how much time and effort we’ve put into telling everyone that rape never even happens. Like, why should anyone at all be confused about the definition of rape when we’ve put so many man-hours into telling everyone on every media outlet that every single reported instance of rape is always a conspiracy of secular feminism? I guess I don’t understand why anyone would object to requiring women to report rape to the police when we’ve screamed at the tops of our voices about how every instance of reported rape is always, in every case, without exception, the victim’s fault. I mean like, am I the only one here who’s confused or what? Help me out, bros.’

Here is a nice and clear definition: If the intercourse was done without the consent of the woman, then it is rape. Really, it is not difficult.

Have any of the Republicans consulted Todd Akin or Richard Murdock yet? They should be hired, provided plane tickets and paid large sums of money to consult for the Republicans. John Boehner is single handedly responsible for this avoidable fiasco. He has hurled feces at the devout, religulous anti-abortion crowd that has assembled in Washington to celebrate the many accomplishments of the conservative republicans in congress.

As a relatively recent convert from anti-abortion to pro-choice, I can sympathize with the struggling with the exceptions. In fact, it was the exceptions that changed my view. If I can’t articulate clearly who should and should not be allowed to get an abortion, then I should not be in a position to make that choice at all.
