Graham, Rinse Pubis and Trump! Just love how Graham realizes they are throwing away at light speed any chance of winning the presidency and likely the Senate.
I hope they keep up the b.s. as our slim chance of winning back the House in this election cycle starts to look betterā¦much better.
Is there another side to the GOP?
Well, there is the fuck you if you canāt afford healthcare side. There is the fuck you if you canāt afford food side. There is the fuck you if you rely on social security side. There is the fuck you if you donāt want to pray to Jesus in school side. There is the fuck you and carry that rape baby to term side. There is the fuck you if you want sensible gun laws side. There is the fuck you if you arenāt white and want to vote side. There is the fuck you if you arenāt straight and want to be treated equal side.

Uhā¦ sorry, Lindsey. A LOT more than 25% of your party thinks Obama is a Muslim, etc. About 25% of the electorate thinks that he at least might beā¦ which amounts to a majority of Republicans. (Remember Walker about 2 weeks ago saying he ādoesnāt knowā if Obama is a Christian?) Thatās why a majority of Republicans say they like and agree with Trump, despite his current sub-50% numbers in the polls. (The supposedly āmoderateā candidates add up to a lot less than Trump, Carson, and Cruz put together).
Your party leadership has been happily stirring up this insanity for 6 years in the naive belief you could channel it into whatever direction the party money wanted. Guess what? Youāve led the base to expect ātruthā like Trumpās. Now that they have it spewed at them directly, they like itā¦ as you should have expected.

As opposed to the dark side of the GOP with a febrile hunger for perpetual war? Or the dark side of the GOP that yearns to impose a patriarchic theocracy? Or the dark side of the GOP that wants a neofeudal oligarchy where the 99.9% labor in a culture combining the most pathological aspects of Walmart, Amazon and McDonaldās? And let us not forget the carbon black darkness of Wayne LaPierreās America side, where everyone whoās white carries a gun everywhere and everyone who isnāt has the theoretical right to do likewise but gets killed by the cops if they exercise it.
There are no sides to the modern GOP that arenāt dark. The nomination goes to whoever can add the most dark sides to his pile.

Graham had no chance at winning the nomination, let alone the WH. And his Senate seat is safe until 2018, and then its highly questionable if he will even want to keep it. He was(is?) campaigning to be SecDef for some moderate/establishment candidate. Not achieving that, I think its highly likely that Graham retires at the end of his current Senate term.

Are you telling me that in the last 6+ years this featherweight of an asshole never called out the President with some personal attack? Iām sure thereās some tape of him making some kind of derogatory personal attack against Obama. Roll the tape somebody, would ya? How about those times he called the President, Neville Chamberlain? Numerous times I might add. Or the time he called Obama and his administration all liars and scumbags when he was running for reelection in SC, using Benghazi by ginning up his base? Fuck this know-nothing, do-nothing POS. No wonder youāre at the kiddieās table.

Whos he kidding? For the GOP the dark side has always been money in the bank, just ask Lee Atwater if he was still with us. Mighty white of him to bring it up though (sarcasm.) I think itās third party for Trump in 2016

Manā¦ the GOP could use a sane candidate - donāt get me wrong, Graham is a terrible policy-maker who would have most of the western world bogged down in useless conflict - but at least heās sane. At least his ideology is somewhat informed by logic, even if its deeply, deeply flawed logic. Iād be more afraid of a candidate like Graham, who can at least feign reason. Trump, even if heās the nominee, is a glorious, slow-motion disaster. Graham would be a lot tougher in the general.
Luckily, theyāll never pick a guy like him. Good olā GOP - nothing if not reliably stupid.
