Discussion for article #242166
I had no idea Lindsey Graham was still running for president.
Somehow I have very little pity for Graham who pretty much cheered the Tea Party on when they were obstructing Democratic ideals. Couldn’t happen to a bigger asshat.
Believe, brother, believe. We all believe it who stay in touch with anything remotely resembling reality, unlike you. But, considering the self-deceptive delusional “normal” GOPer like Lindsey, of course he can’t believe it. He doesn’t even believe the Earth is round and the sun goes around it. Forget his understanding anything “more complicated” than that.
He has been running since Civil War.
I thought he made himself history about the same time Rick Perry disappeared from the radar. I’m baaack - yikes.
Republican supporters love leaders who like to kill/hate or things which like to kill, eg guns. Louder the rhetoric, the popular you will be…
Yea really, he only tried to kill one person? Graham and the republicans enact policies that kill thousands of people. You think he’d be polling better with the republican base that all have guns and are just itching to use it to kill someone?
He comes off sounding like a whiny, complaining priss but at the same time he’s right. The leading candidates talk about nothing but themselves and trash talk each other and put out some fantasies they have of governing, but he wants to talk about ISIS and we want to hear about income inequality.
Carson also talks about how we should turn this country into a theocracy, which is truly alarming and much less entertaining than Trump’s Daily Bellows.
You sanctimonious little TeaTurd…how many have died because of your funding cuts votes, MsLindsey?
Didn’t Lindsey Graham play the lead character in “Petticoat Junction?”
This is exactly why I loathe the establishment even more than the crazy caucus. The establishment created, cajoled, and legitimized the TP. They made them, and they’ve been happy to incite them when they’re running for office or when they want to rally support. Several months ago, Graham was on Fox fearmongering that ISIS was about to come kill us ill. Graham’s problem isn’t that the TP and the base believe stupid things, it’s people like himself who keep telling the base to believe stupid things.
Reap the harvest of your land, Senator. Reap the harvest.
Lindsey, it was your party that empowered people like Carson and Trump. You can thank Fox, Rush, and Savage.
Sen. Graham however isn’t the best messenger here given how much he has trash talked Obama and was one of the House managers in the Clinton impeachment.
If he wants to know why he’s losing he might consult the works of Mary Shelly. His party…his…built in crazy as a feature. It empowered the nutcases now its problem. This was by design. They had them. Sitting oi their duct tape patched lazy boys…in their fetid mobile homes. They had them. They were already voting for them. But for some reason they decided to empower them. Give them a name and an identity. Tea Party. He’s losing because his Party did not have the foresight to see what happens when you open a can of worms or a Pandora’s box. He’s losing because he inflicted this thinking on himself.
He’s right. It should be no contest. But he and his boys changed the menu and he’s no longer what folks want. He did this to himself.
The smell of desperation gently wafts from South Carolina across fruited plain, from sea to shining sea.
Increasingly Lindsey Graham reminds me of the book Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. And not in a good way.
The FACT that Senator Graham is losing, BADLY, to those two people should be very enlightening to him. But he is clearly too STUPID to process the information that is as plain as the nose on his face. By the way, someone should tell him that he is losing to just about everyone except Kasich and Perry. And they are no longer in the race.
