Clearly it’s time for an aggressive leak investigation.
and it really doesn’t matter.
The deniers funded by big oil will deny until the sea starts to rise above their knees.
They’ll just put their houses on stilts and buy a big boat.
See I like this better, a tropical resort on Long Island
Fake News. Hoax by fake scientists conducting a fake study. Climate change is bullshit. Stop the Leaks. Attention: Beachfront Property for Sale by Owner - Great Deal - call 202-456-1111, ask for Donald.
Just read a piece reporting the CEO and CFO of Shell Oil are buying electric cars in September.
Was channel surfing last night and ended up watching this on PBS;
Precision: The Measure of All Things Heat, Light, and Electricity #103

While watching was pretty astounding to think of people that won’t accept things science has found out and what more it is trying to achieve. Some folk are so insistent to deny it and continue to believe stuff as laid out in the bible, a book that not only contradicts itself it’s so far from with reality. And these folks benefit so much from science.
and a lot sooner than he thinks
Looks to me situated between the Atlantic Ocean and the intracoastal 6 -12 inches and the party’s over.
They will call it a leak. But it´s really a public servant or servants who is doing his/her/their job(s) by releasing work to the public that´s paid for it. Hat´s off to them, bigly.
Unfortunately, the increased temperatures due to warming is increasing the pressure of the leaking fluid, ensuring more and stronger leaks.
Long-term forecast: It’s gonna get leakier and leakier until the reason-in-chief for the leaks is gone.
There’s nothing wrong with educating the masses about climate change, but it’s rearranging the deck chairs on the TITANIC. It’s already too late to turn back the heating trend. Be glad you’re living now, because in 100 years, mankind will either be extinct or close to it:
Bummer, but given the success of the fossil fuel industry in creating an alternate narrative and blocking development of clean energy resources, our great grandchildren will have to deal with a great extinction event.
The people who deny science secretly believe science will save them. Colonies on Europa, anyone?
Shhh. If the GOP finds out our extinction is a done deal, they’ll pollute everything that much sooner.
Based on previous history and innate resilience, I’m betting that at least cockroaches survive.
The funny thing is, the Earth doesn’t care what people “believe”; as I have stated before, what will the president* be tweeting when the course at Mar-a-Lago is under a foot of sea water? Hopefully, neither of us will live to see it, but I do find the prospect somewhat amusing. Sadly, we will do nothing about it until it reaches crisis stage. From what I understand, parts of Florida will not have to wait that long.
Colonies on Europa, anyone?
Psssh, we don’t have to go that far—NASA is already operating slave colonies on Mars, dontcha know.
Actually Palm Beach Island is relatively high for Southern Florida. It is more like 18 inches. There are sidewalks that will be sunk long before then. Sea walls are already in place on the Atlantic side. Of course, by then most of the rest of Southern Florida will be under water. Miami is already suffering from high water.
Palm Beach County has a full blown global warming / sea rise coordinator planning to protect its citizens. Other counties and communities are doing the same. Don’t tell the governor.
Is that a PP tape joke?
