The end game of Kris Kobach, Steve Bannon, and other alt right white nationalists are to allow states to use undercounts in the census to not only deprive cities and suburbs of federally allocated funds, but to diminish congressional representation.
Such a strategy further empowers rural areas, and continues minority rule. In effect, itâs part of a decades long strategy to keep America ruled by the GOP, no matter how much they are in a minority.
The current radical right wing Supreme Court majority will only get worse. They donât care about the Constitution, the rule of law, or facilitating the right to vote. Facts just donât convince them. Only their radical right wing ideology matters.

Thomas and Alito are NOT Gorsuch conservative allies as none of them are conservative. Rather, Thomas and Alito are Gorsuch REPUBLICAN allies who donât give a care about any theory or even the constitution but always use, misuse actually, their power based on what is good for the Republican party and the rest of the nation be damned.

Trump and the Supreme Court are making sure that that outcome doesnât happen again anytime soon. And the Ruskies will provide their uncoordinated help.
No Mueller or court is going to save American Democracy. Impeachment is not going to happen. The French have ways to ensure that they rulers behave, these days involve yellow vest.

But we can always add a few Justices, impeach and convict Gorsuch and Kavanaugh, and every other judge appointed by Trump/McConnell, and fix a lot of things.

Never happening. The past 4 years are game over. And now theyâre moving to make it so red states can essentially cheat in order to give themselves even more outsized influence over our government and the rest of the nation by literally pretending people they donât like donât exist and donât deserve representation. There is absolutely NO REASON WHATSOEVER for blue states to remain part of this country. We are, at this point, quickly becoming nothing but slave states in service to the red states, producing the majority of the wealth, jobs and national product while being forced to hand it to the red states and spend it the way they want.

The right wing would immediately sue arguing that this violates the âonce in ten yearsâ constitutional provision and the right wing activists in robes would trip over themselves in voting to shut down the attempt.

Sounds like a strategy. Get aggressive messaging going to tell people not to answer the question. I wonât answer it, and I will tell all my friends, relatives and coworkers not to answer it.
Possibly, but you are then betting on a much longer shot.
I think that there are more than sufficient grounds to remove Thomas, Gorsuch and Kavanaugh from the bench through impeachment (its in the Constitution!), and if that cannot be done I am all behind expanding the SCOTUS if that is feasible (and also as part of it abolishing lifetime tenure for all Federal judges). But lets not kid ourselves - that will be a stretch.

I donât believe the text prevents more frequent census-taking: ââŚand within every subsequent Term of ten Years, in such Manner as they shall by Law direct.â I read that as an âat least onceâ every 10 years, which could allow for additional polling should the government determine it to be in the nationâs best interest.
