Discussion: GOPer Peter King Isn't Thrilled That Trump Berated Pelosi In Normandy

“I have a different style from the President.“

You hide it well.

“But, I think, first, she attacked him, and he had every right to do it.”
How? Define “attack”.

“I just think that for his own sake, since his speech was so outstanding, it was so first class. … He should’ve let it be until he got home. He should be above that,” he said. “But having said all of that, I would give the whole European visit an A-plus. ”
These words make all he had said illegitimate.

p.s. What does the title have to do with the content? Why always paint GOPers in a better light than they deserve?

King’s criticism feel tepid. Ends up blaming Pelosi.

Good. I would hate to start the week finding a point of agreement with Peter King.

Par for the course.

GOPer Peter King not being thrilled has basically become Susan Collins without the high heels. Just more tepid bullshit.

Moving on…

The over-the-top compliments are obligatory grovelling when dealing with a person with narcissistic PD. Only 10% non-adulation is permitted in any single interaction. Trump never forgets.

Jeez, I wish I had teachers who graded me this generously.

“I have a real problem with much of what you said here and found your essay inappropriate for the assignment. A+.”

King does this stuff all the time. He’s a mindless partisan like all the rest, but he puts partisanship aside for a moment when he sniffs an opportunity to scold someone. He’s more of a bad dad than a good American.

It’s the ebay vendor grading scale:
Item arrived on time, was the item advertised. A++++

Pretty sure that Emily Post would not have approved of a gentleman attacking a lady, regardless of whether she started it.

“But, I think, first, she attacked him, and he had every right to do it.” Republican Peter King

Really? Her remarks were spoken in a closed door meeting – not on broadcast TV for all the world to hear. Mister King, it would appear there’s a lot you actually do have in common with your Dear Leader.

Also, Pete, here’s a napkin – you got something slimy dripping down your chin.

King sure is a touchy little thing given that he’s a former IRA bag man. Surprised the British haven’t evened the score with him in some subtle way.

Peter King, 1982: “If civilians are killed in an attack it is certainly regrettable, but I will not morally blame the I.R.A. for it.”

“We must pledge ourselves to support those brave men and women who this very moment are carrying forth the struggle against British imperialism in the streets of Belfast and Derry.”

To be fair, the grade scale in Trumpland ranges from A to A+. Anything other than an A+ (i.e. an A) represents a failing grade (called, in Trumpville, Losing). Hence the A+, because if you are not a Trumpish man then Losing gets you evicted from the Isle of Trump.

Growing up, he was the lawyer for my school district. My soft spoken mother had a question–something to do with his official duties. He was listed in the telephone book so she called him up. He yelled at her for calling him at home.

Oooh, another “both sides” lie from a Rethug - who’d’a thunk?

Pete “IRA’s point man in the USA” King was jealous that his cousin Steve is getting all the air play as one of the stupidest persons in Congress, and felt he needed to up his game.

[NB: No, they’re not really cousins – as far as I know – but one can be forgiven for thinking that level of stupidity from two guys named King might have a genetic component in there.]

Genetic component?

They are both “R”?

He’s a boxer kind of guy. The President’s into whitey-tighties. Sorry for the imagery. That’s be with you a long time.
