Discussion: GOPer Ernst: A Whole 'Generation' Relies On Government For 'Absolutely Everything'

She’ll also propose vouchers so that church schools can do the teaching.

“it’s going to take a lot of education to get people out of that. It’s going to be very painful and we know that.”

Just like castrating those piggies on the farm. Right, Joni?

Cause those darn 47%ers get EVERYTHING!

Nah, trust fund babies.

This woman is a Lt Col. in the Ohio National Guard. I really don’t like a serving military officer being involved in electoral politics. And especially when they seem to be spewing sedition and treason much of their time like Ernst does.

This is usually termed “re-education” As in “after the rise of the Khmer Rouge, many people were sent to re-education camps.”

Or, that pen Dolores Umbridge used on Harry…

I knew something wasn’t right about that when I typed it.

Thanks!

No, not at all. She said:

In the audio Ernst said a “generation of people” has been created that relies “on the government to provide absolutely everything for them.”

“Absolutely everything” means absolutely everything. She did not say an entire generation is reliant on government for a few things nor one or two things, but claimed an entire generation will be dependent on the government for “absolutely everything”. Since 85% of people receive their health benefits from an employer, even if everyone who got insurance through Obamacare was on Medicaid, there’s still not even the remotest kernel of truth in her statements.

Joni “Porcine Ball Slicer” Ernst wants to prove that everybody wants to suckle at the Big Gummit’ teat so she’s willing to run for a Big Gummit’ job with lots of perks (handouts & freebies) just to prove it.

And…having positioned between Fu*kin’ Liar and Batshitcrazee’, Kochroach NRA puppet Ernst looks to get her sum’ of that Big Gummit’ teat…so, move over you D.C. lib’ slackers!

If idiots like this don’t motivate Democrats to get and vote, then we deserve everything these fools advocate.

Oh well!..With Michelle “Krazee’ Eyes” Bachmann out the door, at least we’ll have 6 more years of comedy. Wait a second - what we do know about Joni Ernst’s husband? Did she meet him prancing around at an ex-gay camp as well?

Or did she just marry the purdiest’ Boar she’s castrated?

The happiest countries in the world are all social democracies with little to no military budgets, negligible crime, nationalized healthcare, free tuition, 4-day work weeks and 6-hour work days. The emphasis is on living life with family and friends, not spending every last hour in a desperate income chase. These countries, most of which are in the geographic region of Scandinavia, have a robust combination of higher life expectancy, gross domestic product per capita, social support, generosity, freedom to make life choices and lower perceptions of corruption.

The United States has the opposite of every single item, and this woman is touting that fact as the way to live.

People like Joni Ernst believe in backward social policies and letting the rich run the world. When you get right down to it, it’s people like her, running for and winning a position of authority, that guarantees the US will perpetuate its ugly downward spiral. She is the epitome of everything wrong with the world.

Yes, they could.*

*But they’d have to adopt sensible banking practices.

Hey teen:
This is a variation on the theme of “the 47%”.
Once these urban myths take hold, there’s no shaking them loose.
That ship has sailed and there’s nothing we can do about it.
Try facts. They don’t work. A large segment of the population “knows” that “half the population is supporting the other half”.

Yeah… it’s hella discouraging too.

Dear Mr. Braley: You had ONE FUKING JOB: Not to out-stupid this clearly brainsick woman. But, thanks to what we’ll just call your 47% moment, you failed. Now control of the ENTIRE US SENATE could go to people just like Jodi: Tinfoil-hat wearing, reactionary morons and moonbats who will create a country even more fuking horrible than this country is right now. I know it’s hard to imagine how it could get worse, but it damn sure will. Count on it!
So thanks. Really!

C’mon Iowa! Nobody likes a smartass, but that’s no reason to elect a damned daft dumbass! You’re better than that!

“Once we start with those benefits in January, how are we going to get people off of those?”"

Legislated and regulatory wage standards that go beyond minimum wage, prevent middle-class wage stagnation while all the money and wealth goes upwards and never comes down and prohibit (as the tax laws were supposed to) corporations from siphoning all profits off in the form of gigantic executive salaries so they can claim low net income.

Now, kindly go fuck yourself, you plutocrat whore douche.

Indeed. An entire generation of pasty out-of-touch mostly white mostly rich guys known as “politicians” and “bankers”.

oh really? and what about those obscene CEO “salaries” (more like yearly lotto jackpots) on which they barely pay taxes on and which we all subsidize (ordinary wage-earners subsidize these “salaries” since corporations deduct them from their taxable income… ordinary wage-earners, who pay about 40% income tax, while the CEO’s who rake in these yearly jackpots barely pay any income taxes on them…)

and how about rich corporations and other rich individuals, who rake in millions a year without working for (people like Mitt Romney) and also barely pay any income taxes?

I guess she has no problem with the govt subsidizing the rich…

Well, she’s right. I’d be dead if it weren’t for government regulations on dumping pollutants into the water I drink and bathe in every day. I’d have to go untreated (and also probably dead) if the FDA didn’t approve medicinal safety before I injected or ingested it. I’d be uneducated and would have to work a menial job if it weren’t for the public school system and all those taxpayer funded teachers that helped me learn to read and write. I’d have to walk to work if it weren’t for all those roads the government has built and keeps maintained. I wouldn’t have much of a country if it weren’t for all those men and women in the military that I’m dependent on. I’d be a victim of crime and fire far too often if it weren’t for all of those police officers and firemen the government has at it’s disposal in case of a crisis. My parents would be dead or broke if it weren’t for social security and medicare - or I’d have to pick up the tab and go broke myself. And don’t get me started on how dependent I am on the USPS to get my Christmas cards delivered on time!

But, seeing how Senator Ernst here has never once, ever, relied on government or taxpayers for anything (except maybe a few paychecks), I’m sure hoping she writes a book on how to be such a self-made rugged individual. Maybe I’ll just never be as clever or ingenious as her. One can hope.
