We were going to tell him what we thought of his pathetic dependency, but we were late for our Medicare-funded doctors’ appointments.

What an idiotic statement re ACA. Does she understand that people buy and pay for insurance-- you know, the grown up way of being responsible for one’s bills? The GOP wants to be the party of personal responsibility, but then she says it’s 100% dependency when people participate? She can’t be taken seriously. Chuck Todd - has she disqualified herself yet?

But in the ACA a lot of people are not buying and paying for insurance. You have millions that are being covered via Medicaid as a result of the ACA. You have millions more who’s premiums are being paid, sometimes 100%, by tax subsides.
I don’t have a problem with either Medicaid expansion or tax credits for premiums but her rhetoric is not without a little truth. Of course if she were to actually include those who are receiving some sort of funding from the Government a lot of those who are shaking their heads up and down, would not like being included into the dependency class.
So this hair helmet is part of the group that will be educating us, and who ‘knows’ how painful it will be? Yes, historically when the rich have tried to squeeze the poor too much it’s been “painful” for them. Marie Antoinette, for example, found it painful, but just for a minute.
