Discussion: GOPer Amash Hops Back On Twitter To Defend Against Colleagues' Criticism

I am no fan of this libertarian but I am glad he is out there doing this. Maybe just maybe he will cause a trickle of Republicans to take the same stand. I don’t hold out too much hope but there is a chance.

My money says Amash is gonna run for president.

Out here in the Pacific time zone, the re-ignition of the Amash ‘accusations’ just made my bleeping morning.

Ha! A Republican white guy with balls. A rarity indeed.

You maybe correct about his running for POTUS.

He did the Monster Amash…

This feels… different. Perhaps certain Republican operators are taking the first steps in addressing their little “Donnie” problem?

Or maybe we just found one with some principles and a touch of backbone?

Either theory just seems to outrageous, but…

Amash v. Trump = Logic v. Emotion, same as Mayor Pete v. Trump and Mayor Pete v. Fox.

And the good mayor said “I don’t care!”

“…the good mayor said ‘I don’t care’.”

Only better response, imho, would’ve been: “Who?”

Does he run as a Libertarian or primary Trump directly?

Like I said yesterday…this guy won’t be apologizing anytime soon, in fact he won’t be doing so ever. Its not his M.O. Just as I had anticipated, he’ll double-down. That’s what he does.

So…GOP Battlebots…Begin.

Fun to watch anyway.

as a libertarian?

I don’t see him running in the GOP primary this year. All that would accomplish would be to dilute the anti-Trump vote between himself and Weld. But maybe Weld and Amash could run together as a ticket?

That sound’s very good.

One thing I wish Amash would do – point out that America was attacked, and that Trump put his personal concerns above the nations. It doesn’t matter if Trump though it was unfair – what matters is that we were attacked, and Trump had acted suspiciously – and that the investigation was necessary.

Nice response from Amash, but with so many big words I’m afraid the Trump base won’t be able to keep up. And he doesn’t once use the words ‘strongly’ or ‘very,’ so how will they know when he’s trying to emphasize a point?

I would just remind them of the hundred of former prosecutors who agreed with him about Trumps crimes. We can’t all be wrong.

The GOP is awash in their inability to abash Amash.

While Chiselin’ Trump did the Mobster Mash.

The former, I would assume. Just so lots of Democrats can jump ship if we go “socialist” with … anyone apparently.
