“So if you grab a woman by the genitals, that’s not sexual assault?” the Weekly Standard pressed.
“I don’t know. It’s not clear that he—how that would occur.”
And a new candidate for the dimmest man in Congress rears his ugly head. I have long found Sessions to be a distasteful Confederate apologist, but as is the general tone of the Republican campaign this year, he has sunk to a new low. Thanks, voters of Alabama! You have put a man with questionable moral judgment in a position of power and the public trust. Heckuva job!

Actually, I empathize slightly with the Senator’s confusion here. The first time I heard the “grab 'em” quote I wasn’t sure exactly what the hell it meant either. But I’m pretty sure there’s no explanation of the mechanics that wouldn’t be describing sexual assault.
It’s a byproduct of bringing Kellyanne Conway onto the team.
This is her area of expertise----luring grown men into denying rape and sexual assault. She must be a plant.
Yeah, remember that one time a guy, not advocating rape, but just bringing up the idea that any rape might not be “legitimate” was enough to destroy a Senate race?
This guy casually brags about actually committing sexual assault and it’s just another news cycle…
Ah, the infamous “loose shoes and tight pussy” joke. I was in high school during the Earl Butz era. Our local paper never printed the joke in its entirety but somehow we found out what it was, Butz’s “cheap food and lots of it” gave us big agrabusiness and its attendant problems which haunt us to today.
