Discussion for article #247486
Who is his opponent this November?
Can’t imagine being or saying anything more racist than that. This idiot is typical GOP: hateful, sniveling snot.
I will say it again - the Republicans don’t care about the good of the country, they only care about being in power.
You’ll be dealing with a much more liberal nominee from the next president. This is your chance to get something closer to what you want. But as the GOP almost always does, they can’t take yes for an answer and end up getting nothing, or next to nothing.
The unfortunate thing is that these bullshit attempts to appear reasonable are going to fool the people they are aimed at.
Dickhead.
Best bet: Sestak (a guy who turned their last encounter into a dogfight)
Not good enough, Senator Club-for-Growth. I can’t wait to vote against you this November.
I am guessing he has no idea how stupid he sounds with this series of tweets. If you would consider him then you should be able to consider him now.
Toomey will NOT have to worry about his position when the next president nominates any SCOTUS judges because he will no longer be a senator!
Senator Joe Sestak will take the seat he could have won in 2010 had PA Dems actually gone out to, you know, VOTE.
Just wow!!!
the gop soup is beginning leak out from, you know where.
Doesn’t matter much to me—I’m a Pennsylvanian and a yellow-dog Democrat and I’d vote for a box turtle if they ran it against him. And I’ll be sending him a little billet-doux just to let him know. I don’t feel like saying vulgar things today (don’t worry, it won’t last) but I’m thinking them. I hate all of them for this and everything; this is one of them I can reach and and hurt. So yay.
me, too. I’m already actively canvassing for Sestak in my area (Philly 'burbs)
This trap from Obama is really, really obvious, and he is still sprinting into it like a moron.
And this reinforces why I think this pick is smart. 1. If he gets through somehow, he’s loads more moderate than Scalia and was the best he could get with this Senate. If he doesn’t, he goes back to the federal bench with a huge chip on his shoulder against the Republicans who blocked him. 2. It keeps the best and brightest young liberals- Srivinasan, Watford, etc- from being bloodied and damaged if the Senate doesn’t let them through. 3. Once again proves Republican intransigence to many Republicans already starting to doubt their party in the era of Trump. These are the new swing voters in 2016.
I think this is a political masterstroke that is as deft as it is potentially devastating.
+10000000000000000, from a fellow Pennsylvanian.
I am sure HRC may consider him
Short Toomey: The Black guy can only be given so much of the constitution reasoning.
