Judging by this Administration’s nominee, Sally Yates wouldn’t fit in on the Court. She’s clearly overqualified.
Cornyn and Cruz were gigantic assholes, misusing the hearing to misdirect to the topic of Trump’s travel ban. I hope I can find video of Cruz’s grilling because she actually shut him up pretty good, before he got back into his rut of projecting accusations of partisanship.

Farmer Crankypants is onboard with derailing the purpose of the hearing he called. But it’s fascinating that Democrats aren’t raising hell about it; apparently on the theory that you should interrupt Republicans when they’re fucking someone over, but not when they’re fucking themselves.

This “Who appointed you to the Supreme Court?” jibe might have had a bit more punch if the Federal Courts (and ultimately the Trump Administration) hadn’t ratified the correctness of her judgment.
