Of course there are multiple levels of decision making before the Supreme Court ever gets to a case, if ever. The lawyer who brings the case has to decide if it has merit. Then, at the federal level, a District judge, then an appellate court, and then, if accepted for review, the Supreme Court. This ass hat knows that and Ms. Yates did very well with the question.
I loved the way Former Acting U. S. Attorney General Sally Yates’ testimony today. She was a great civil servant and true to her work. Its sad that a so called clownish POTUS called Donald John Trump, felt compelled to fire her! When in fact she should have thrown handcuffs on him and dragged his behind into jail!
Well, I know this and you know this, but if anyone was still harboring any illusions that senators are more thoughtful, erudite and cultivated than their bratty counterparts in the lower house, it’s safe to say that was a pretty stupid belief.
Pathetic, but we are dealing with cowardly Commie bastards, at least 50 puny little Eichmanns.
This is really making me uneasy to write this, but with this group of aging, wheezing, shrivel-dicked morons, it sure helped Ms. Yates that she is an attractive, very professional, and very poised person ON TOP of being the smartest person in the room. OK, had to say it because that’s the shit that matters to these geezers. “She ain’t hard on the eyes.” Sorry, sorry, sorry.

[And the best plan is, as the popular saying goes, to profit by the folly of others.]
I don’t know where Sally Yates is from, but hearing that soft southern inflection in testimony which damns Trump is satisfying—upending some several stereotypes, IMO.
Haha. Check this out:
Just as shocking as the indifference to Russian interference is their lack of respect for our democratic institutions. The Justice Department is not the president’s handmaid!
Ha, these guys looked like fools. They can deflect all they want or need to but they look resigned.
Speaking of SCOTUS, was this Cruz’s audition ? Hope not for his sake because Yates sure did smack him down. I loved how she pointed out the amendment to his citation. He looked flabbergasted! All he could do was mutter, something, something partisan. LOL is all I can think of, LOL! Your clerk failed ya Ted!
They think Yates should simply be a mindless drone who “simply follows orders”.
That’s because they see her, a woman, as a secretary. They’re literally incapable of seeing her as an independent decisionmaker with judgement and authority equal to or possibly greater than the men around her. They did the same to Hillary: why didn’t she just follow orders on how to handle classified material – as if she were a secretary to the men around her rather than the head of an agency that determines classification levels.
