He would have been better off voting his conscience instead of talking out of both sides of his mouth.

It’s really Mitt Romney in a Steve Russell suit.

Traveling in the “outback” of Utah and sat next to a guy in a small burger joint who was in town from Idaho for a family funeral.

Before long he was telling me that Obama was a Muslim, and that the VA was running a program that sent agents into the homes of veterans who were in the hospital and took away their guns while they were sick.

Sickness there is, but the depth of it and the sheer idiocy of the belief systems on which it is based are beyond reason or rationality. It is truly frightening, but one can understand immediately the kinds of wacko pressure an OK congressman would face if he deviated from the widespread belief that EVERY Muslim in the world is a jihadist fanatic and their children are learning how to throw hand grenades in public theaters.

Oy It is in such a climate that true despots can gain power. Trump truly frightens me.

Thanks to you, we are already the quaking, trembling cowards and fearmongers ISIS has been wanting us to be. Thanks for letting the terrorists win our country, asshole.

That was a no-brainer. Giving the Republicans a veto-proof majority is obviously more important than holding on to every single principle for which this country allegedly stands.

He was a very bad boy. He broke lockstep with all the other zombies.
This is why there is no government in America anymore, and why things are only going to get worse.

I’m Sooooo not impressed.

Russell told TPM that “nobody” believes the bill passed on Thursday will be the final legislation, and that the veto-proof majority would give the House leverage when negotiating with the Senate…

He said that he has seen some use the issue for “political leverage” over the past few days

Leverage. OK. So, our liberty, who we are as a country, those people fleeing for their lives are negotiable.

Got it.

What else do you plan to take hostage?

What I say and What I do dont have to be compatible with each other. I am looking to run for President in future and my supporters love my flexibility.

I am gonna “like” it because its very poignant, but I don’t actually like that an environment arose in this nation to make such a cartoon relevant.

You have to be unconscious to not be frightened by the possibility, a very real possibility that Trump will be the next president.

Where he will promptly be shouted down and swarmed again if it disagrees, and tossed back onto the bench.

Good Americans, killed by good Christians, is not nearly as bad as Frenchmen killed by Belgium residing Moroccans.
