I’ll offer some “clarity”; we have installed a venal, corrupt, crazy old man in the highest office in the land, and he is doing everything he can to enrich himself and his family. Instead of playing Monday Morning Quarterback, how about persuading some of your allies in the House that it’s long past time to begin impeachment proceedings? Just try to imagine the answers if Obama had tried anything this sleazy. The hypocrisy of the GOP continues.

Can’t remember the thread that it was on, but the conversation was about how Democrats needed to have a linguistic answer to the way conservatives needle them with “Democrat Party”, instead of “Democratic” which is the proper name.
I think we have it now: the GOP is now the Kleptocrat Party.

That would be correct.
It should have been on the CDC website with a warning regarding their salmonella sandwich.

We’ve seen this all before. Remember former Governor Rod Blagojevich?? He summed up Trump’s attitude perfectly: “I’ve got this thing and it’s fucking golden, and, uh, uh, I’m just not giving it up for fuckin’ nothing. I’m not gonna do it.”
Of course, the former governor went to jail. Sigh. If only history would repeat itself.

While we are certainly in new and unexplored territory when it comes to 45 and his various excursion to his own branded properties, shouldn’t it be simple to get an amendment attached to one of the upcoming “must pass” bills, that expressly forbids any goverment department or agency from reimbursing/paying for any goods or services received from a Trump branded property? Secret Service and White House staff can stay at other local hotels, eat at other local establishments. If 45 wishes to make their protection more effective, he can donate any rooms/meals/etc. I don’t remember W charging the Secret Service to stay at the Texas ranch or in Kennebunkport.

If you are elected President you should able to do whatever you want including spy for the Russians, have sex with pee-hookers, take bribes, steal from the Treasury, pay no taxes, hire your family, build walls and destroy health care. That’s exactly what the Founding Fathers had in mind.

One of the great advantages to having multiple serious scandals and policy fuck ups is focus on any of them is difficult . The frauds in Congress hardly work so paying attention to these “distractions” is tough for them…
