Of course she doesnât bother to mention all the other violations of ethics standards and the Emoluments Clause that Trump & Co. have repeatedly broken. Party over country, again Marsha.
Gotta love that passive construction.
Just kidding, no you donât. Itâs fucking gross. Worse when it comes from the party of personal responsibility.
I didnât think the loopy dingbat was capable of criticizing Trump
Having watched CNN this morning, I noted, unlike the image with this post, Marshaâs finally learned never to raise her aged, reptilian hands up near her high-dollar facework while on camera.
LET. ME. REITERATE. If youâre not going to take substantive steps to punish abuse of office and prevent it from happening again, donât bother with the âainât it a shameâ line.
So much of what has has happened since November 8, 2016, and again on January 20, shouldnât have happened. But kleptocracy performs best in the shadows.
@mantan Thank dawg youâre on our side (or maybe youâre not) or weâd get to hear about Dem womenâs physical flaws as relates to their ability to govern and form coherent sentencesâŚ
First Joni Ernst and now Marsha Blackburn? When the bomb throwing, arsonists become the voices of reason you know the Republican ship has not only lost its rudder but is losing a mast.
Which brings up a point I have not seen explored in depth: Whoâs running the ship?
The administration of #45 is demonstrably inept and most agencies do not have a second in command, never mind that the one in command is (usually) unqualified if not outright antagonistic to the agencyâs mission.
So other than inertia, how is the work of government being done? Are underlings taking responsibility above their station, risking career for the team? Bureaucracies have a way of maintaining despite loss of leadership â Imperial Romeâs did for a very long time in the midst of a fractious and increasingly powerless Senate under incompetent and not infrequently mad emperors â but what about the good old US of A? Not everything is automated, so how is business being conducted and, more to the point, how will a course change be managed?
Are you suggesting Republicans have an âability to govern and form coherent sentencesâ?
I do believe Iâm sexually balanced in the physical characteristic zinger department as my pioneering work slapping Keebler elf metaphors all over the malformed Jefferson B. Sessions suggestsâŚ
âGOP Rep.: State Dept. Promotion Of Mar-A-Lago âShouldnât Have Happenedââ
In other breaking news, the sun, as always, rises in the east.
I donât understand. The whole reason for this enterprise (Trumpâs run) was to sell his brand. Put the big-assed T on everything valuable. That millions of American bought it will be story that the history books will have a hard time explaining.
But thank goodness that lady with the emails wasnât elected.
Soon weâll get to watch the new State Dept. spokesbunny defend nonsense like this (while she fends off the groper-in-chief).
If State starts showing cleavage then I really feel Spicy has to get with the programâŚ
Ok, Blackburn. Iâll believe you when you call for your colleagues to launch an investigation of this matter. There are many other ethics concerns, too, but we have to start somewhere. Speak up, we canât hear you!
So at what point does trumpâs abysmal record as president make people avoid the properties he touts?
Nonsense. The President canât have a conflict of interest. He said so himself while discussing with his business managers what he can best do to grow Trump org bottom lines.
âIt shouldnât have happened."
The ultimate epithet for the Trump presidency.
Nor is it too far removed from âIt Canât Happen Here.â
Back on the Japanese version of Iron Chef, one of the judges sometimes said of a dish, âThis should not have been served.â
Every day.
