Rep King is wrong; Israel is not our greatest ally, not even close. Canada is our greatest ally. We share the longest non militarized border in the world. We share the world’s largest reservoir of fresh water. We coordinate a common defense of North America. We largely share the same popular culture. To say nothing of the difficulty in determining which country you are in when traveling.

[EDIT] Oops! I forget that we are each other’s largest trading partner.

well, to be honest, I’m starting to get a real feeling that this is all part of a coordinated GOP/Teatroll strategy to try to shift them Jews to the GOP as a means of fixing their problems with ongoing demographic shifts towards a minority plurality. It makes sense…they see Jews as safe white folks and they know they’re never going to win over Hispanics and African Americans at this point. Moreover, trying to win over brown folks only damages them with their racist base. So they figure “maybe if we manufacture some ‘liberals are jew-hating anti-semites’ talking points…someone call up Bibi…he’ll probably help us out…” Dermer’s role and behavior in all this, including his history as a Republican operative, certainly suggests I’m not out in tinfoil hat town for thinking it.
