Every blind date is a success. We all know that, we’ve had several months to ponder it.

Is this going to be their fall back excuse for the 2018 midterms?

“I voted for it and didn’t know how bad it was because I wasn’t given the chance to readit?”

Oh, gosh, let’s put it this way, people in my office have read all the parts of the bill

And we are all okay with throwing constituents under the bus to give tax breaks to the wealthy and stiffies to the lunatics in the Freedom Caucus.

I’m old enough to remember when Republicans thought not reading a bill before voting on it was reason enough to resign.

If you don’t read the bill, and wait for it ti be scored by OBM then you can’t bitch any longer about how Obamacare was voted on.

The assumption here is that the current crop can read.

I’m reminded of the scene from Fahrenheit 9/11 when Michael Moore rode around the Capital in an ice cream truck reading the unread Patriot Act for members of congress (with the ubiquitous ice cream truck bell-tinkling Turkey in the Straw music playing…)

“I don’t think any individual has read the whole bill, but that’s why we have staff.”

You don’t write many bills either, but that"s why you have ALEC.

But he insisted members of Congress had “several months to sort of wrap our brains around this.”

I’m struggling with the visual. How small does a bill have to be before a GOPer can wrap his brain around it?

I would never accuse a political ideologue of either ilk of literacy.

But he insisted members of Congress had “several months to sort of wrap our brains around this.”

Goodness me, please do be careful not to stretch those feeble brains so much that they snap like the bad elastic in your underwear.

I’ll bet most of your supporters voted for you without reading your whole website, too.

Does this version have 6 -7 pages devoted to exceptions for lottery winners?

And he said it without wincing in embarrassment.

Dems may have trouble picking which of these morons’ quotes to use for television ads.
