R+10.

Pete Sessions is a despicable congressman offering the world one of the worst politicians Texas could muster up and his district should absolutely vote him out of office in the next election cycle. I can’t figure out why they began electing him to begin with.

R+10, but the district went for Clinton.

In other words, he’s a gutless coward.

They won’t meet with ordinary citizens because they don’t consider them their constituents. They will meet in private with wealthy donors and corporate managers and CEO’s who grease their palms. Who needs the ā€œlittle peopleā€ as Leona Helmsley called them? Vote them out!

No way. He’ll make a hurfle-durfing complaint about ā€œout-of-state protestorsā€ at the town halls.

Phuck Session’s!

TX-32: Sessions Defends Extreme Teabagger Rhetoric

Men like Sessions think that town halls exist so that they can lecture constituents about what is going to happen. Therefore it is incumbent upon constituents to listen. It would never occur to them that both sides should speak and both sides should listen. That approach has worked for years and lazy voters have returned them to office. One can only hope that this outrage and anger lasts long enough to oust the lot.

as big as the he and the redistricting he created for himself.

oh no they will choose the ACA over Obamacare . They probably think they can just keep their ACA instead of donaldcare.

Can be hard to unseat an incumbent. He ran unopposed last time. :frowning: He is targeted for next election.

Jeb is a heartless, horrible man.

His slides regarding Obamacare were full of lies. Super obvious lies. It was how he started the town hall. So the boos and jeers were immediate and LOUD. Idiot set himself up.

I hear that. It is Presidential to note the passing of great Americans and Presidential Trump ain’t.

Shockingly, it is NOT Republican. At least, not any longer. Even with the crazy gerrymandering the conservatives have done in Texas, his district (TX 32) voted for Hillary in the last election, by several percentage points. A guy at the rally had a chart on it. But guess what? Last election, he ran unopposed, except for the Green Party candidate, who got 97,000 votes. It’s hard for Democrats to get elected when they don’t even run a bloody candidate.

Well, I do think some people in the audience were rude. I’m sure I’ll get a lot of flack for saying that. But about halfway in, they started up with the constant yelling; we couldn’t even hear the questions that were (almost entirely) from the progressives themselves! Yes, I know Sessions had a canned presentation, and yes, I know he dodged most of the actual answers to questions… but I don’t see what yelling at him accomplished. That’s not going to change his mind on any issues. Especially when he was trying to talk about his Down Syndrome son, and their experiences in the public school system. I’ve always despised Sessions, but when you meet people in person, sometimes you learn something. You might even learn that the enemy is human, just like you.

Being angry at mistreatment is human. That’s why Sessions got yelled at.

Heh. This is my district

I was on Jeb’s joke of a tele-townhall as well. Basically a campaign infomercial.

It is also mostly in Dallas County, which is blue. The most conservative part of the county is included, but blue and swing areas as well.
