Discussion for article #247667

Well, let’s be serious here. Who’s smarter? Who knows how to best use our nation’s resources? Cloven and Ammonia, that’s who. 'Nuff said.

The rest of y’all can now fuck off.

will someone offer an amendment to include 40 acres of the peoples land trust and a mule for each head of cattle that the rancher ‘stewards’ feed on the peoples property?

will Republicans properly identify this as cattle welfare? mineral tax breaks?

Shameful. This was said by a member of Congress? Seriously? All I can say is " shameful, absolutely shameful." No secret where his loyalties rest.

Nobody trusts Republicans. They practice crony capitalism and keep doing corrupt favors for friends,

God, I truly do hope Drumpf is their nominee, and they lose both the Senate and the House due to that asshole’s shenanigans. The current incarnation of the GOP deserves no less.

To describe idiocy like this as ‘stupid’ is an insult to the word stupid. Thank God Obama’s still there to tell them all to go f*** themselves if they send him bills like these.

It would strip officials in the Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) of their authority to enforce laws regulating federal land. Rather, local and state authorities would be provided with a block grant to enforce the laws instead.

Talk about patchwork enforcement! Seriously, Republicans would invite anarchy over uniform understanding and enforcement of federal law.

Well, even this SCOTUS has ruled in favor of the EPA having the right to interpret and enforce federal law. I can’t imagine Chief Roberts would be too thrilled to even entertain the idea of asking the Court, “Can’t we neuter the feds and have local law enforcement (meaning the three thousand and seven county sheriffs nationwide) interpret and enforce the federal law for the feds?” Now, that’s just what the Republicans would invite – over three thousand different little fiefdoms.

Jason Chaffetz really wants enforcement by Barney Fife, or Gomer Pyle.

Republicans are a joke. If the Oregon occupiers were Black Lives Matter or Muslims, talk radio, Fox News, and republican politicians would be singing a different tune. Also, if it were a black man who was ordered out of his vehicle and then fled the scene, the killing would have been deemed justifiable. No one can convince me differently.

I find it so amusing that people who are part of the federal government keep trying to destroy the federal government. Who will grant them unemployment insurance?
