Of course they had to fire him, you can’t have someone associated with the GOP that tells the truth, it is anathema to their very nature.
The only reason for the GOP’s existence at this point is to hurt brown people, poor people, gay people, and women, all while finding more ways to shift even more money to old rich white guys. But if that truth came out, then some of the people in those categories might figure it out and stop voting Republican, and we can’t have people voting in their own best interests now can we?
I should point out that a now-unemployed lower level staffer in all likelihood is not exactly “rich”. Without medical benefits he’s a broken leg or a cancer diagnosis away from destitution. 10 bucks says this guy has a copy of Atlas Shrugged on his coffee table in a cramped apartment. I picked up on that too. It’s ok if coloreds make a good living for themselves as long as they know their place. That’s why republicans will hold up nursing as a woman’s career - but not as doctors.
