If this guy wins he’ll have really pulled off a miracle. He’s getting hammered by his own party. The ads I saw this am were all about his 23% tax ( flat tax ) and how it would hurt folks. No where in the ad, which was run many times, was it mentioned he’s a GOP’er. No way the local Dems would leave that out. And the GOP is openly pounding him for voting “for amnesty” for immigrants. I suspect that’s behind this corny wall bit. He’s running in a district that spans redneckville south of St. Augustine so he does have stupidity going for him.
If the congressman was a sentient human being with some curiosity about climate science he’d go to the folks at NASA located in his state where they would tell him; it’s Florida that will need storm barriers and walls to protect its residents from catastrophic damage, something far more important than a Mexican border wall. Maybe his lovely daughter is getting some science education in school and will explain it to him.
