Discussion: GOP Freaks Out Because Democrat Used A Drone At His Gay Wedding

I might be missing something but how would this be “commercial use” of a drone? It sounds more like personal use of a drone… unless of course this was someone he hired to do this (but then wouldn’t it be the person who owned the drone that would be at fault?). I have a friend who has a small drone and uses it to film things all the time. He’s not selling the videos or selling his services, just likes making videos.

“…used an aerial drone to capture images from his wedding…”

Cool, I wanna do that!

Before Republicans legislate it out of existence too.

OK drones are bad enough, but GAY DRONES??? This is too much. Straight marriage is threatened from above. Good Gawd Uhmighty.

This from a political party that condoned torture by the Bush administration.

That’s what pretty much everything Republicans have said or done has looked like for nearly a decade. It’s what has built TPM’s core business of outrage porn.

“…to capture images from his wedding to his long-time same-sex partner last month”

WTF kinda wording is that?
If it were a straight couple would you word it 'his wedding to his long-time opposite-sex partner"…?

Also why call it a ‘gay wedding’ in the headline? Again, if it were a straight couple would you call it a ‘straight wedding’ in your headline?

The guy married his boyfriend. They had a wedding.
It really is just that simple - and should be treated as such.

I always keep up with the Federal Air Regulations. Don’t you?

Next week we’ll get pics of GOPer’s weddings.
