So does Beck examine each of his “friends” on their beliefs and examine them on what they might or might not do in some nebulous future that hasn’t occurred yet and then base his friendship on that?

It is fun to take comfort in watching two right wing weasels going after each other like this, until you
realize that the approach Beck and his allies are using harks back to the days of McCarthy…stringing together
incidents and suspicions and unsubstantiated allegations to destroy someone’s reputation.
Norquist is a weasel of the first order, but one wonders if, in his private moments, he has any sense of irony as to how
these favored tactics of the right and of gulag states like Russia and China are now being used against him.

For once I am happy that Glenn Beck, who has impeccable right wing credentials, is asking the right questions. It has been long known that Grover Norquist’s inner circle has individuals with very shady backgrounds. The mainstream media has not reported on these important issues very much and reporting by left leaning journalists would likely be perceived as biased.
That’s it, we’re back to the 1950’s. Instead of Communism as the bogeyman, it’s Islam.
