The US has carried out a commando raid on an al-Qaeda stronghold in central Yemen, killing 14 militants, the military says.
One US soldier died and three were injured.
Several Apache helicopters were reported to have taken part in the operation in al-Baida province.

If Giuliani’s mandate was to put together a ban that would withstand judicial review (ie, be “legal”), you’d have to say he failed miserably – as is the case in most other things he’s done in life. Three federal courts – in New York, DC, and Boston – have had a chance to rule on the EO, and all three have found against it.
