Discussion: Giuliani: Trump Asked Me How To Enact A Muslim Ban 'Legally'

Well, it was illegal, so. But that’s nothing new for Giuliani, who’s a huge fan of the first amendment. The biggest fan.

The MP’s need to undo the Brexit and then worry about May selling England’s soul to Trump and Erdogan. She is dangerous. Maybe the EU should let Angela Merkel put May in her place.

The reporting is that he has no business interests in the countries affected by the ban. On the other hand, he reportedly DOES have business interests in countries not affected by the ban but whose citizens have conducted terrorist attacks in the United States (Saudi Arabia, Pakistan).

In a match up between Frau Merkel and May, my money is on May.

Do you really need to ask?

For your edification anyway.

After 8 years of inaccurately complaining Obama was violating the law they think their dictator has permission to actually violate the law.

Bannon!

Friday night, DHS arrived at the legal interpretation that the executive order restrictions applying to seven countries – Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Syria, Sudan and Yemen – did not apply to people with lawful permanent residence, generally referred to as green card holders.

The White House overruled that guidance overnight, according to officials familiar with the rollout. That order came from the President’s inner circle, led by Stephen Miller and Steve Bannon. Their decision held that, on a case by case basis, DHS could allow green card holders to enter the US.

This is so sad…On top of this awful ban, I wonder how many folks under a Trump administration, that are being deported, are also being denied due process or the right to consult with an immigration lawyer.

And so, it begins

Are you saying it only ‘begins’ when American soldiers are killed?

You might want to include this from your source:

Local sources earlier said 41 militants and 16 civilians were killed.
A provincial official said the helicopters targeted a hospital, school and mosque.

I was planning a trip this year but, I’ll gladly put my International Travels on hold if it means destroying this asshole

This is incorrect, as the order stipulates that Christians and other members of minority religions be given priority over Muslims.

Esme! Thank you for providing clear concise context, often missing. You’re doing a great job here.

I already have a trip abroad planned for the fall, but I am afraid to go there—to the US, I mean.

You deserve all the “likes” there are to give for the pic of this thing who governs by impulse and always with all the preposterous staging he can put together

@rxbusa We all know too from various reporting that no one from any of the countries he banned have committed a terrorist act here.

I gave you and everyone else the link, Darcy. I’m not your personal news reader. Draw your own conclusions, but don’t put words in my mouth.

This is a lie, as the order stipulates…

OK this is real simple. If what you’re doing is illegal in several different ways, it doesn’t help you much to say you’re not being illegal in this one particular way or pretend you’re not being illegal that way, including and especially if you are being illegal that way and in other ways too. But when you get your advice from a senile paranoid loon, you have to expect this kind of mixup.
